Some chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps patients undergoing endoscopic sinus surgery (ESS) have unfavorable results despite proper postoperative treatments including oral and topical steroids. Steroid-impregnated absorbable nasal dressing has been shown to improve outcomes of the surgery. In some clinical practices, budesonide-impregnated nasal dressing is used together with perioperative oral steroid but the additional benefits of it are still unknown. This study aims to determine whether budesonide-impregnated nasal dressing had any benefits following ESS when a short course of oral steroid was given in perioperative period. Purpose: To compare the efficacy and safety of topical bevacizumab eye drop versus intra-meibomian gland injection of bevacizumab when used with the standard lid hygiene in meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD) patients. Methods: 60 eyes of 30 MGD patients with lid margin telangiectasia were randomized to receive 0.05% bevacizumab eye drop or single 2.5% intra-meibomian gland bevacizumab injection plus standard lid hygiene. The primary outcomes were telangiectasia grading and the computerized lid margin neovascularized area (LMNA). Introduction: In recent years, microablative fractional carbon dioxide (CO2) laser becomes popular in treatment of vaginal symptoms including vaginal atrophy. This study aimed to evaluate efficacy of vaginal CO2 laser in treatment of vaginal atrophy, compared to the sham procedure. Methods: Between June 2016 and May 2017, postmenopausal women with moderate to severe intensity of any symptoms of vaginal atrophy were invited to the study. This cross-sectional correlation study aimed to develop and test a causal relationship among alcohol consumption, illness perception, social support, fatigue, and functional status among persons with liver cirrhosis. The hypothesized model was constructed based on the theory of unpleasant symptoms and the review of the literature. According to the increase of propylene demand in recent year, the P/E ratio was increased to 0.85. Solidified natural gas (SNG) via clathrate hydrate is a new technology for natural gas storage with high energy content per unit volume, extremely safe, and ease to recover. Although SNG has several advantages, its limitation is low rate of hydrate formation. Sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) is well known as a kinetic promoter used to increase the hydrate formation rate. Solidified natural gas (SNG) via clathrate hydrates has been proposed as an alternative approach for natural gas storage and transportation due to its numerous advantages. However, a slow hydrate formation rate and a requirement of operating conditions are the major limitations, which need to be improved to make SNG competitive in a large scale deployment. In this work, the roles of 5.56 mol% pyrrolidine were investigated for the methane hydrate formation in terms of thermodynamics and kinetics along with morphology. An in-depth analysis of crude palm oil is important to differentiate crude palm oil (CPO) from different geographic provenance for administrative control purposes to prevent and solve the problem of smuggling CPO from abroad to Thailand. In this study, eleven CPO samples from five provinces in Thailand were studied for their composition. The compositions of fatty acids, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and carotenoids were characterized by GC-FID, GC-MS, and HPLC-DAD techniques, respectively. Since Ag-incorporation can promote the formation of light olefins and significantly enhance catalytic performance in n-pentane catalytic cracking. However, the Ag-incorporated ZSM-5 zeolite was rapidly deactivated in npentane catalytic cracking. Thus, CLD and sulfation methods were introduced to improve catalytic activity and stability of Ag-incorporated ZSM-5 zeolites. Hippocampus plays an important role in learning and memory. Hippocampal formation can be influenced by substance used during brain developmental processes including neuron differentiation and synaptogenesis. To investigate the phytochemicals of the entire plants of Dendrobium braianense brought about in the isolation of three bibenzyls, which included chrysotoxin, moscatilin and gigantol. From the whole plant of D. kentrophyllum three flavonoids, namely, quercetin, kaempferol and rutin were isolated, the structures of which were decided by means of analysis of spectroscopic data to compare the values already reported. They were assessed for their alpha-glucosidase inhibitory activity. Gigantol, quercetin and kaempferolwere found to exhibit strong alpha-glucosidase inhibitory activity when compared with the positive control acarbose, while chrysotoxin, moscatilin and rutin were devoid of activity.
