Discovery Learning With Jigsaw Ii On Information Literacy And Cognitive Learning Outcomes Of High School Students, Robiatul Adawiyah, Herawati Susilo, Sri Endah Indriwati

This study aimed to determine the effect of the discovery learning model combined with Jig-saw II on the students’ information literacy and cognitive learning outcomes. The study was a quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent control group design. The subjects were 134 high school students divided into one group given discovery learning model combined with Jigsaw II and 3 control groups given discovery learning, Jigsaw II, or conventional learning model. The experiment showed that the discovery learning model combined with Jigsaw II resulting in significant differences in students’ information literacy and cognitive learning outcomes with Fvalue = 13.935 (p < 0.05) on information literacy F value = 6.527 (p < 0.05) on cognitive learning outcomes. It can be concluded that the discovery learning model combined with Jigsaw II significantly improved students’ information literacy and cognitive learning outcomes.

OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to investigate the changes in the regional fat distribution of body composition and the physical performance of adults with Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) after progressive elastic band (EB) training. METHODS: Participants were trained three times per week, performing three sets of 15-20 repetitions for each of the exercises with EB for 24 weeks. Changes in body composition were measured using dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry. The School Operational Assistance Program, referred to as BOS, is a demand intervention program indirectly provided by the government of Indonesia to students through schools, started in July 2005. This paper examines the impact of BOS on educational investment by households and other expenditure such as food and non-food consumption. Using the observations of 1,161 households with at least one member studying in public school from the fourth wave of the Indonesian Family Life Survey (IFLS 4), we discover that BOS is effective in relaxing household's budget constraint, thus increasing educational investment by households. We also discover that households with …

The etiopathogenesis of LCH, whether it is neoplastic or reactive, is still controversial. Captive breeding populations exist in Bronx and Toledo zoos in USA and in two captive breeding facilities in Tanzania. Efforts to reintroduce the species back to its natural habitat at Kihansi Gorge wetlands have become a long process.
