The Indonesian Constitutional Court abruptly annulled provisions regarding the function of BP Migas as state representative in managing upstream oil and gas operations in Indonesia, declaring it unconstitutional. Apparently, the Court was convinced that exercising absolute state control over hydrocarbon operations would give the utmost benefit to the people. This research argues that in achieving such goals, a state must be able to create strong administrative infrastructure and regulatory regime capable of controlling and supervising hydrocarbon operations in accordance with both national and international oil fields. This article aims at describing the ability of 48 students of physics education in determining the distance traveled, average speed, and acceleration of position functions. To achieve these objectives, three reasoned multiple choice questions were used. The question is part of 20 standard test questions that are used to measure understanding of student mechanics concepts in the Basic Physics course. The study was conducted using a survey method. Data were obtained from student responses in answering questions. Claims of student understanding were seen from the choice of answer options and reasons given. The creation of a sustainable world urgently requires managers of organizations to consider large-scale changes in the practices and policies of social and economic institutions. Compelling scientific and economic information on the environment, while the basis of much dialogue in higher education and in the public sphere, has failed to motivate adequate progress to date. This article describes the analytical support a Saint Joseph’s University (SJU) data mining class provided over the past three academic years to Fe y Alegría in Bolivia (FyAB), a Jesuit-sponsored institution dedicated to the education of the poor and looking for a feasible model that could help them identify which students and schools have the most need. SJU undergraduates, working without viable socio-economic household income information for each student in the database, had to be creative in assisting FyAB using only survey data provided by Bolivian school-age pupils. ZnO thin films were deposited using reactive direct current (dc) magnetron sputtering on glass substrates placed at seven variable radial positions (-1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 cm)  relative to the sputter-gun (target) axis. A pure zinc target was used and sputtering carried out in argon and oxygen atmosphere with flow rates of 50 sccm and 6 sccm, respectively. XRD characterization showed that, all films crystallized homogeneously in the wurtzite phase with a strong (002) and a weak (004) orientations.
