Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pendidikan karakter kebangsaan Pancasila yang sesuai untuk diterapkan di sekolah menengah (SMP) berbasis pesantren. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu para guru Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) SMP berbasis pesantren yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Sekolah yang dipilih adalah SMP yang memang kondusif untuk pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter bangsa Pancasila dan memenuhi kriteria yang telah ditentukan. This study investigated how is the perception of high school of vocational in tourism program study students in communicating foreign language and revealed the competence in twenty-first century skills. There are about 125 respondents who participated out from 150 survey spread on the vocational high schools that held tourism program study in Yogyakarta involving the teachers and students. The data were collected through comprehensive questionnaire. The results shown that the subjects had following in common and compared result to the teachers shown that perceptual matches and mismatches between the two groups. Through One-Way ANOVA test (P<0.05), there found 7 items in communicative competence that significantly difference in students perception and 18 items on 21^st century skills. Meanwhile, …

Violence in schools is increasingly reported by the mass media. It indicates that its prevalence is escalating. An instrument which has a proper psychometric property is needed to investigate the phenomenon. The study aims to develop an instrument for measuring physical abuse experienced by students in schools and explore the construct of the instrument. To pursue those objectives, the content validitity, construct validity, and reliability analysis on the developed instrument were measured. This qualitative study aimed at evaluating the circumstances in plenary class that provoke learners' speaking anxiety. To meet the objectives, this study investigated students of German as a Foreign Language (GFL) course who were experiencing speaking anxiety symptoms in the plenary class. The research was a narrative qualitative study, and the data were collected through observation and interview. The result of this study reveals that learners' speaking anxiety occurred in particular circumstances of the plenary class, such as unfamiliar topic, still class, students' unpreparedness for spontaneous speaking, expressionless face of the lecturer, and students' fear of native speaker lecturers.

The study was aimed at (1) identifying indicators for bandel attitudes in the teachings of Ki Hadjar Dewantara, and (2) finding out the results of the implementation of the developed bandel attitude assessment instrument. The study was developmental research in the affective domain using Mardapi's ten developmental steps. Subjects were selected by cluster random sampling of 392 junior secondary school students, 57 for the limited-scale try-out and 335 for the wider-scale try-out. The data analysis techniques included those for Aiken content validity, concurrent validity, and Cronbach Alpha reliability. Evaluation using computerized adaptive tests (CAT) is an alternative to paper-based tests (PBT). This study was aimed at mapping physics problem-solving skills using PhysProSS-CAT on the basis of the item response theory (IRT). The study was conducted inSleman Regency, Yogyakarta, involving 156 students of Grade XI of senior high school. Sampling was done using stratified random sampling technique. The results of the study show that the PhysProSS-CAT is able to accurately measure physics problem-solving skills. Past research has asserted that members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (i.e., Mormons) have high rates of religious perfectionism. A historical investigation was performed exam- ining how the perception of perfectionism has changed within the field of psychology. The study first investigates early viewpoints (e.g., Freud, Horney, Adler, Ellis, Beck) that unanimously perceived perfectionism as negative and debilitating in an individual’s psychological adjustment. New research, which understood and measured perfectionism as a multidimensional construct, found both positive and negative components of perfectionism. Functional connectivity is one of the most widely used tools for investigating brain changes due to schizophrenia. Previous studies have identified abnormal functional connectivity in schizophrenia patients at the resting state brain network level. This study tests the existence of functional connectivity effects at whole brain and domain levels. Domain level refers to the integration of data from several brain networks grouped by their functional relationship. Data integration provides more consistent and accurate information compared to an individual brain network. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain komparatif. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan The Sport Motivational Scale (SMS) yang dikembangkan oleh Luc G. Adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) are a potent risk factor. Despite these findings, studies have also recognized the importance of considering additional sources of genetic and environmental influence that cluster within families.

To properly control for latent sources of genetic and within-family environmental influences and isolate the association between ACEs and the following outcomes in adulthood: physical health, depressive symptoms, educational attainment, income attainment, alcohol problems, and antisocial behavior.

Although psychodynamic psychotherapy is effective and can be done briefly, it has fallen out of favor, especially with religiously oriented psychotherapists—including Latter-day Saint psychotherapists. The client in this case study is a 50-year-old, middle-class, Caucasian member of the Church. Using the case study as a framework, this paper describes and illustrates how psychodynamic psychotherapy can be seen as a spiritual endeavor that is compatible with both a traditional Christian orientation and a Latter-day Saint orientation. This article provides an overview of patience and its associated constructs by examining its role in five domains: (a) confidence and control; (b) distress tolerance; (c) relationship development, maintenance, and repair; (d) character development; and (e) spiritual maturation. It highlights initial evidence that patience contributes to increased self-regulation and impulse control, distress tolerance, self-compassion, mindfulness, empathy in relationships, perspective taking, use of cognitive reappraisals, prosocial ori- entation, character development, and spiritual maturation.
