Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi dan disposisi mahasiswa melalui pembelajaran diskursus multi representasi (DMR). Metode penelitian ini adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretset-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa pendidikan matematika STKIP Siliwangi Bandung yang mengikuti mata kuliah metode pembelajaran matematika sekolah SD pada semester ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017 yang terdiri dari 3 kelas, yaitu: A1, A2 dan A3. The purpose of this study is to analyze Grade 8 students' representation errors in solving word problems related to graphs in one of junior high schools in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to describe the role of scientific approach on students' mathematical critical thinking and resiliency. This study wass a pre test-post test experimental control group design and involves 66 seventh grade students as sample. Data collection was conducted by a mathematical critical thinking test, a mathematical resiliency questionnaire, and a perception on scientific approach questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive and inferential analysis. The study found that on mathematical critical thinking ability, students getting treatment by scientific approach attained better than students taught by conventional teaching, but both groups were still at low level. …

This report identifies the effect of passing distance laws on drivers’ behaviors and bicyclist’s safety during an overtaking maneuver. Using an instrumented bicycle and driver survey, the study measured bicycle passing in a naturalistic field experiment using video recording, an ultrasonic distance measuring device, and a LiDAR. In order to evaluate the effect of passing distance laws, the study examined jurisdictions with a three-foot passing law, with a five-foot passing law, and without a passing law. The challenges involved in modeling biological systems are significant and push the boundaries of conventional modeling. This is because biological systems are distinctly complex, and their emergent properties are results of the interplay of numerous components/processes. Unfortunately, conventional modeling approaches are often limited by their inability to capture all these complexities. By using in vivo data derived from biomedical imaging, image-based modeling is able to overcome this limitation.

The study was aimed at producing a valid and reliable higher-order thinking skill (HOTS) test instrument using Lombok local cultures as contexts in the junior secondary school mathematics subject matter. The study is developmental research involving a field try-out of 75 students of Grade VIII. Data were analyzed using classical test theories of difficulty levels, discriminating powers, and functioning distractors. The test validity is assessed using the Aiken formula and reliability is estimated by Cronbach Alpha. This study was aimed at evaluating an internship program using Kirkpatrick's evaluation program. The subjects of the study were students of batch 2015 and instructors. Slovin formula was used to calculate the sample. A questionnaire and teaching assessment sheet were used as instruments for collecting data.
