Synthesis Of Biphasic Calcium Phosphate And Its Behaviour In Simulated Body Fluid, Bui X.V, Thang T.D

ASEAN Journal on Science and Technology for Development

The main goal of this study is to elaborate and evaluate the physicochemical properties of the synthetic biphasic calcium phosphate (BCP) powder: an associate compound of hydroxyapatite (HA): Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2 and beta-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP): Ca3(PO4)2. The new compound BCP has two advantages: high bioactivity (HA) and fast biodegradation (β-TCP). The obtained powder of BCP was prepared by the precipitate method. XRD analysis confirmed the synthetic material contained both HA and β-TCP crystalline phases. SEM images showed that the small particles of HA attached to bigger particles of β-TCP in the structure morphology of BCP. The in vitro experiment was carried out …

A family history of premature coronary artery disease is an independent and established risk factor for CAD. A total sample of 657 Iraqi patients with coronary artery disease who submitted to routine coronary angiography in our cardiology center, only 72 patients with a positive family history of premature coronary disease were enrolled in this study. Hypertension and left anterior descending artery occlusive disease were more prevalent in 64% of patients with a positive family history of premature CAD (64 %). This thesis considers the ways in which Armenian history has influenced integration of Syrian-Armenian refugees into Armenia due to the ongoing Syrian War. Ethnic Armenian outlooks were analyzed relative to the influx of Syrian refugees, particularly co-ethnic Syrian-Armenians. Field work in Armenia found a sustained cultural impression of Armenians’ Soviet membership and genocide. Findings suggest that recognizing the importance of history as it may or may not affect migration reception policies and attitudes is important to developing sustainable resettlement environments, at least until repatriation or third-country resettlement becomes an option to migrants. A Cognitive Approach To Phonology: Evidence From Signed Languages, Corrine Occhino

This dissertation uses corpus data from ASL and Libras (Brazilian Sign Language), to investigate the distribution of a series of static and dynamic handshapes across the two languages. While traditional phonological frameworks argue handshape distribution to be a facet of well-formedness constraints and articulatory ease (Brentari, 1998), the data analyzed here suggests that the majority of handshapes cluster around schematic form-meaning mappings. Furthermore, these schematic mappings are shown to be motivated by both language-internal and language-external construals of formal articulatory properties and embodied experiential gestalts.

The paper devoted to results of the study on impact of the “SERHOSIL” and “REZOKOM-1” biological products on grows and yield of “Namangan-77” variety of cotton cultivated under condition of irrigated loamy soils. The study has shown that the biological products has positively impacted on vegetation, grows and provided higher biological yields from experimental fields that is up to 36% more than from control fields.

The article highlights the importance of cultivation of major crops - cotton, in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the problems arising from the use of furrow irrigation with surface water shortages in Uzbekistan. Proposals on the application of drip irrigation of cotton under cultivation for the purpose of rational use of water.
