This study aims at improving teacher professionalism. This study employed descriptive qualitative case study using supervision instrument. The data were obtained through observation, interview, and documentation. The data were analyzed through several steps such as obtaining data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing a conclusion. The result of this study showed that the implementation of clinical supervision which is conducted in three stages (planning, execution, and feedback responding) was positively running and able to improve the professionalism of teacher. Several attempts to improve and develop teacher professionalism were made such as material comprehension, learning method and media used designation.

This research purposed to describes the implementation of clinically supervision in teacher is profesional competence improvement. It is using qualitative aproach method with case study program. Collecting data using observation technique, interview, documentation by single data analysis. The result of research showing that the implementation of clinically supervision by three stages: pre conference, observation, and post conference doing well and increasing teacher’s professional competence in managing learning process.

Kejadian ISPA pada anak berumur 12 – 59 bulan di Puskesmas Kecamatan Tebet, Jakarta selatan mencapai angka 42,95% dan Puskesmas Kelurahan Tebet Barat merupakan Kelurahan yang memiliki prevalensi penderita ISPA yang berumur 12 – 59 bulan terbanyak dengan proporsi tertinggi dari lima puskesmas kelurahan yang lain yaitu sebesar 23,20%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi kejadian ISPA anak berumur 12-59 bulan di Puskesmas Kelurahan Tebet Barat. Penelitian menggunakan desain studi cross-sectional dengan 104 sampel. Dari hasil salah satu studi diketahui bahwa penggunaan obat nyamuk memiliki efek lebih besar dalam menanggulangi penyakit Demam Berdarah dibandingkan penggunaan larvasida dan fogging. Tujuan studi ini untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang penggunaan obat nyamuk di masyarakat. Studi ini merupakan studi deskriptif yang pengumpulan datanya dilaksanakan pada Februari-Maret 2013 di DKI Jakata dan kota Depok. Dari hasil studi ini didapatkan bahwa: Dari 83 responden yang mengisi kuesioner (terdiri dari 65% perempuan, 45% berpendidikan SLTA dan 11% salaah satu anggota keluarganya pernah menderta demam berdarah), didapatkan bahwa Jenis obat nyamuk yang sering digunakan adalah obat nyamuk lotion (32,5%), disusul dengan spray (26,5%), …

Sexual Misconduct Discourses Within A Gendered Campus Environment, Kathryn A. E. Enke

Using data from focus groups, class papers and institutional documents, this project for the HLC Quality Initiative examined discourses around sexual misconduct at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University and considered how these discourses reflect a gendered campus environment. The research aimed to inform the national conversation on sexual misconduct on college campuses and to suggest specific recommendations for implementation at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University.

Structural Basis For The Recognition Of Spliceosomal Smn/B/B' Proteins By The Rbm5 Ocre Domain In Splicing Regulation, André Mourão, Sophie Bonnal, Komal Soni, Lisa Warner, Rémy Bordonné, Juan Valcárcel, Michael Sattler

The multi-domain splicing factor RBM5 regulates the balance between antagonistic isoforms of the apoptosis-control genes FAS/CD95, Caspase-2 and AID. An OCRE (OCtamer REpeat of aromatic residues) domain found in RBM5 is important for alternative splicing regulation and mediates interactions with components of the U4/U6.U5 tri-snRNP. We show that the RBM5 OCRE domain adopts a unique β–sheet fold. NMR and biochemical experiments demonstrate that the OCRE domain directly binds to the proline-rich C-terminal tail of the essential snRNP core proteins SmN/B/B’. The NMR structure of an OCRE-SmN peptide complex reveals a specific recognition of poly-proline helical motifs in SmN/B/B’. …
