The Classics and Religious Studies collections support the teaching, research, and service activities of the entire university community. The primary audience is the faculty and students of the Department of Classics & Religious Studies in the College of Arts & Sciences. Its primary focus is support for the undergraduate and graduate curricula for Classics & Religious Studies. Research needs of faculty and students are supplemented through Interlibrary Loan. While the collection also benefits other citizens of the state of Nebraska, materials are not purchased with them in mind. Prohibits the State from delaying the distribution of tax revenues for these purposes even when the Governor deems it necessary due to a severe state fiscal hardship. Summary of estimate by Legislative Analyst and Director of Finance of fiscal impact on state and local government: Significant constraints on state authority over city, county, special district, and redevelopment agency funds. Repeals the two-thirds vote requirements to raise state or local taxes. Repeals Proposition 13's caps on property taxes. Excludes first $150,000 of personal income from taxation. Imposes maximum 8% marginal tax rate on personal income above $150,000. Allows taxpayers to take a credit against personal income taxes for property taxes paid in the same year. Imposes taxes on land having rental value. These bacteria ensure that the cycle of chemical exchange between organisms and their environment is continuous. The environment plays a critical role as a source for the emergence of pathogens and in the manifestation, course, and prognosis of human and animal diseases. Bacteria survive in a host of environmental niches such as soil, surface waters, plants, and in humans. In each of these niches they have specific roles in order to survive. The Security And Foreign Policy Of The Islamic Republic Of Iran: An Offensive Realism Perspective, Bledar Prifti

USF Tampa Graduate Theses and Dissertations

This study argues that security and foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran is mainly driven by the main principles of the Offensive Realism theory of international relations. While the Iranian political system is considered a theocratic system, based on the Islamic Shi'a ideology, its survival is defined as the ultimate ideology-an ideology that is paramount to any other ideology. Iran's security and foreign policy is determined and shaped by its need to survive in an anarchic international system. Iran's cooperation with "two Satans", Israel and the United States, during the Iran-Iraq war demonstrates that the ultimate ideology of …
