During this survey period, the Georgia Supreme Court and Georgia Court of Appeals issued several noteworthy opinions on topics of interest to practitioners. This Article will address these judicial opinions that cover, among other topics, the issues of damages, immunity, the attorney-client relationship, indemnification, jurisdiction and venue, statutes of limitation, standing, and trial procedure. This Article will also address several developments in Georgia's statutory law impacting trial practice and procedure.

Funding Of Oil Sector Activities In Nigeria, G. Nzekwu
Economic and Financial Review
The article examines the funding of the Nigerian oil sector considering the special importance to Nigeria and the critical impact Nigeria's oil has on the world economy. Nigeria, currently the seventh largest oil producer in the world has an oil reserves which represent 6 percent of the world's total outside the Middle East. With 4 per cent of total global production, and the fifth-largest oil producer within OPEC, Nigeria is well located relative to the world markets and so attracts buyers from the major world economies. To determine the historic Virginia tribe or tribes from which the Lumbee may be descended, I have decided to search the records of North Carolina and Virginia and see where surnames linked to the Lumbee in the eighteenth, nineteenth, and early twentieth centuries appear. My goal is to see which, if any, have documented ties to specific Virginia Indian communities.

Creating A Design Knowledge Network., Kathryn Burns, Jack Ingram

In the United Kingdom, there have been a number of national and regional initiatives to develop the application of design in small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs). Design-led manufacturing is seen as the principal means by which SMEs in traditional industries can combat the threat of low cost overseas labour and compete successfully in the global marketplace. There is also a complementary movement to develop clusters of companies and other bodies in various industrial sectors.
