Grapevine Plant Named ‘Jupiter’, John R. Clark, James N. Moore

Describes a new and distinct grapevine variety which originated from a hand-pollinated cross of Arkansas Selection 1258 (non-Patented) and Arkansas Selection 1672 (non-Patented). This new grapevine variety can be distinguished by its large seedless fruit, excellent muscat flavor, resistance to fruit cracking, good productivity, and good vine hardiness.

Relationship Between Self-Perception Of Individuals With Learning Disabilities And Coping Strategies, Nicholas Frantz Pontius
Theses & Honors Papers
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between one's understanding of his/her own learning disability (LO) and coping strategies he/she employs to mitigate the effect of the disability. The subjects (N = 120) of this study were students with learning disabilities who attended and graduated from a private school in Richmond, Virginia between 1976 and 1997. A self-developed questionnaire with two parts was used to collect data for this study. The data were analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistics. An Evaluation Of The Ispcan Inter-Sectoral Training: Child Abuse Protocols In South Africa, Amy Maheswaran
Theses and Graduate Projects
This research studies how child abuse has become so pervasive in South Africa and evaluates a project that provides training for professionals to learn the necessary skills to build an effective social welfare system, potentially create national procedures for serving abused children and potentially change child abuse laws. Efforts have been made to build awareness on the rights of children in South Africa. Children, before and after the apartheid regime, have been affected by the breakdown of families and oppressive laws in a patriarchal society. Child abuse services and policies have attempted to address protecting children from abuse. Despite efforts …
