The Unm Strategic Plan, Board Of Regents Jan 2001

The Unm Strategic Plan, Board Of Regents

UNM HLC 2018-19 Assurance Argument Evidence

The original UNM Strategic Plan approved in December 2001. This strategic plan is composed of two parts: (1) the UNM Vision statement, Mission Statement, Values Statement, and Statement of Strategic Advantages; and (2) the collection of "Strategic Directions" and "Objectives" meant to give direction to the University's immanent and long term development. As noted in the document, the strategic plan was the result of extensive collaboration from the University community and other stakeholders, and unifies the capacities of administrative support with general academic endeavors under consolidated objectives.

These two agencies are responsible, respectively, for controlling and safely passing flood flows, and for storing and releasing water for agricultural, municipal / industrial use and other uses. The institutions encountered or affected by the Rio Grande as it flows from its headwaters in Colorado to Fort Quitman, Texas, include two counties, as many local governments and a myriad …

Databases And Portals For Knowledge Management, Soraya Abad-Mota Jan 2001

Databases And Portals For Knowledge Management, Soraya Abad-Mota

University Libraries & Learning Sciences Faculty and Staff Publications

The current availability, quantity and variability of Information Technology (IT) is overwhelming. Internet and the powerful set of tools loosely called "the web" dramatically changed the way people use this technology. We can take advantage of these new ways to try to capture an organization\'s knowledge and manage it effectively. Two key elements of IT that serve this purpose are databases and portals. In this chapter we explore the database and portal technologies, their interaction, and their potential for knowledge management. We also discuss briefly how databases and portals provide a good development opportunity for Latin America.
