Nebraska Cattlemen/Nebraska Cattle Women Conference, John Owens
John Owens: Speeches and Appearances
I’m so pleased to be here with you today, and I look forward to visiting and working with members of this group now and in the future. Since arriving in Nebraska nearly a year ago now on a snowy, blustery day, I’ve been delighted to take every opportunity that comes my way to get to know Nebraska and Nebraskans better. I want to know what you think are Nebraska’s greatest needs, now and in the future. I want to know how you think the University of Nebraska Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources can help meet those needs. I seek …

The Wooster Voice (Wooster, Oh), 2001-12-06, Wooster Voice Editors
The Voice: 2001-2011
This edition of the Wooster Voice begins with an article regarding the salaries of top administrators at the college. A computer error caused the College to report incorrect salaries of the administrators to the IRS. The error inflated the salaries, and the College assured the public and the community that these administrators are not receiving the extra pay. Following this, there is an article on the front page detailing the recognition of retired Wooster professor, Ted Williams, by President Bush. Williams was recognized in Washington D.C. for his guidance and advice to countless students during his 40 year career. In …

The Mentor Relationship In African American Adolescent Literature, Roynetta D. Douglas
The Mentor Relationship In African American Adolescent Literature, Roynetta D. Douglas
Honors Theses
The mentor relationship in African-American adolescent literature underscores the idea that young people can benefit from the counsel of caring adults outside their immediate families. In this ethnic specific subgroup, families may often suffer from financial strain due to single parent households or lack of career options. For that reason, many African-American adolescents either seek or happen upon a non-familial adult who helps them navigate through adolescence. This type of relationship, with its success and its pain, is vividly apparent in many novels geared toward young African-American girls.

Arboles Trabajando En Beneficio De La Ganaderia
Arboles Trabajando En Beneficio De La Ganaderia
Working Trees (USDA-NAC)
