Six new host records and an updated list of wild hosts for Neobenedenia melleni (MacCallum) (Monogenea: Capsalidae) are provided. Reproductive biology of the cobia, Rachycentron canadum, is described from four coastal areas in the southern United States. Samples were obtained from recreational fishermen between December 1995 and November 1997 from the southeastern United States (Morehead City, NC, to Cape Canaveral, FL), the eastern Gulf of Mexico (Ft. Myers to Crystal River, FL), the north-central Gulf of Mexico (Destin, FL, to Chandeleur Islands, LA) and the western Gulf of Mexico (Port Aransas, TX). Histological evidence of spawning occurred from April through September in all areas. Some female cobia (17-32%) throughout the Gulf of Mexico had spent or regressed ovaries …

During July-September 1993 and May 1996, a survey of the metazoan parasites of 817 elasmobranchs from the Gulf of California, representing 42 species, was conducted at 14 sites along the western portion of the Gulf of California. Elasmobranchs were obtained from local commercial fishers. In this paper, we report all digeneans collected during the survey, excluding the gorgoderids, which will be presented in a subsequent paper. Four species from three hemiuroid families were collected, none of which was known previously from the Gulf of California. Syncoelium vermilionensis sp. n. ทรัพยากรมนุษย์มีความสำคัญต่อการพัฒนาองค์การเป็นอย่างยิ่ง เพราะทรัพยากรมนุษย์ มีส่วนในการพัฒนาองค์การให้มีศักยภาพและประสิทธิภาพ การดูแลทรัพยากรมนุษย์ใน องค์การจึงเป็นสิ่งที่ผู้บริหารองค์การต้องคำนึงถึง โดยเฉพาะขวัญกำลังใจ ความรู้สึกต่อองค์การที่ตน ทำงานอยู่ รวมทั้งบรรยากาศในการทำงานของบุคลากรในองค์การด้วย ทั้งนี้เพื่อนำไปสู่การบริหาร จัดการให้เหมาะสม ก่อให้เกิดการพัฒนาองค์การ \nการศึกษานี้เป็นการศึกษาแบบตัดขวาง มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา 1) ความคิดเห็นต่อ บรรยากาศองค์การของฝ่ายบริการพยาบาลโรงพยาบาลสงขลานครินทร์ 2) ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อบรรยากาศ ด้านการทํางานเป็นทีม การให้บริการ การเปลี่ยนแปลงงาน การปรับปรุงระบบงาน เป้าหมายใน การทำงานร่วมกัน และความพึงพอใจที่มีต่อการทำงานในองค์การ กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ศึกษา ได้แก่ พยาบาล ผู้ช่วยพยาบาล พนักงานผู้ช่วยการพยาบาล เสมียน คนงาน และเจ้าหน้าที่อื่น ๆ จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 600 ราย วิธีการเก็บข้อมูล โดยแบบสอบถาม เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บข้อมูลเป็นแบบสอบถาม จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 55 ข้อ ผลการศึกษา พบว่า (1) กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีอายุเฉลี่ยประมาณ 32 ปี มีระยะ เวลาในการปฏิบัติงานประมาณ 11 ปี มีโอกาสได้รับการอบรมเฉลี่ย 1 ครั้ง ตลอดช่วงระยะเวลาที่ปฏิบัติงานในฝ่ายบริการพยาบาล (2) ความคิดเห็นต่อบรรยากาศองค์การด้านความสามารถใน การเปลี่ยนแปลงวิธีการทำงาน การทำงานเป็นทีมการใช้ความคิดสร้างสรรค์ การให้ความหมายของ คุณภาพ การตอบสนองความต้องการของผู้ป่วย/ลูกค้า เป้าหมายและอุดมการณ์ร่วมกัน และ ความพึงพอใจในงานอยู่ในระดับปานกลางค่อนไปทางมาก ส่วนความสัมพันธ์ของผู้ป่วยใน และ การปรับปรุงระบบงานค่อนไปทางน้อย ดังนี้ 6.16 6.24 6.10 7.05 6.75 6.09 6.22 5.84 และ 4.80 (3) เมื่อศึกษาถึงปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อความคิดเห็นต่อบรรยากาศในการทำงาน โดยการวิเคราะห์สมการ ถดถอย พบว่า ระดับการศึกษาและโอกาสที่ได้รับการอบรมเกี่ยวกับ Hospital accreditation มีผลต่อ ความรู้สึกต่อบรรยากาศในการทำงาน (beta.132 และ beta.126,p<.05) (4) ผลของการเปรียบเทียบ ความคิดเห็นต่อบรรยากาศองค์การของผู้ที่ทำงานในระดับพยาบาลประจำการ ผู้ช่วยพยาบาล พนักงาน ช่วยเหลือการพยาบาล เสมียน และคนงาน โดยการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนของตัวแปร พบว่า มีความแตกต่างกันในด้านการปรับปรุงระบบงาน เป้าหมายและอุดมการณ์ร่วมกันของบุคลากร อย่างมี นัยสําคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 ส่วนด้านการทํางานเป็นทีม การใช้ความคิดสร้างสรรค์ การให้ความหมาย ของคุณภาพ การตอบสนองความต้องการของผู้ป่วย ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้ป่วย และความพึงพอใจ ต่อการทํางาน ไม่มีความแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสําคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 นอกจากนี้ในส่วนของข้อคำถาม ปลายเปิด คณะผู้วิจัยได้นำมาวิเคราะห์โดยใช้โปรแกรม Ethnograph 4.0 พบว่า ก) ส่วนใหญ่ต้องการ เห็นภาพของโรงพยาบาลสงขลานครินทร์ในสายตาของผู้รับบริการว่าเป็นโรงพยาบาลที่มีคุณภาพ การบริการที่ดี บุคลากรมีความสามารถ และมีเครื่องมือทันสมัย รวมทั้งค่าบริการไม่แพงนัก ข) ในด้าน อุปสรรค พบว่า มีอุปสรรคที่นโยบายการบริหาร บรรยากาศในการทํางานไม่เอื้ออํานวย ซึ่งมีทั้งจาก บุคลากร การได้มีส่วนร่วมในการบริหารจัดการ และนโยบายขององค์การ ค) สิ่งที่น่าจะได้พัฒนาและ นําไปสู่ความสําเร็จของการทํางานที่มีประสิทธิภาพ คือ การส่งเสริมด้านวิชาการ การส่งเสริมความสามัคคี การมีส่วนร่วมในการพัฒนาหน่วยงาน ปลูกจิตสํานึกในการทํางานและรักงานของบุคลากรทุกระดับ การได้รับการยอมรับจากผู้ร่วมงาน ไม่มีการแบ่งระดับ และผู้บริหารควรยอมรับฟังปัญหา

การวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสมรรถนะของหัวหน้าฝ่ายการพยาบาล โรงพยาบาลชุมชนโดยรวมและรายด้านตามการรับรู้ของตนเอง และศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างภูมิหลัง ของบุคคล คุณลักษณะส่วนบุคคล และสภาพแวดล้อมในหน่วยงาน กับสมรรถนะของหัวหน้า ฝ่ายการพยาบาลตามการรับรู้ของตนเอง โรงพยาบาลชุมชน สังกัดกระทรวงสาธารณสุข กลุ่มตัวอย่าง ที่ศึกษา คือ หัวหน้าฝ่ายการพยาบาล โรงพยาบาลชุมชน สังกัดกระทรวงสาธารณสุข จำนวน 262 คน \nเครื่องมือที่ใช้รวบรวมข้อมูล คือ แบบสอบถามที่สอบถามเกี่ยวกับภูมิหลังของบุคคล คุณลักษณะส่วนบุคคล สภาพแวดล้อมในหน่วยงาน และแบบประเมินสมรรถนะหัวหน้า ฝ่ายการพยาบาล โรงพยาบาลชุมชน ค่าความเที่ยงทั้งฉบับ มีค่าสัมประสิทธิ์แอลฟาของครอนบาค เท่ากับ .98 สถิติ ที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล คือ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์การจรณ์ ค่าไค-สแควร์ และค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์แบบเพียร์สัน \nผลการวิจัยพบว่า \n1. หัวหน้าฝ่ายการพยาบาลมีสมรรถนะโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง โดยมีสมรรถนะ ด้านภาวะผู้นำสมรรถนะด้านการปฏิบัติการพยาบาล และสมรรถนะด้านการฝึกอบรม อยู่ในระดับสูง ส่วนสมรรถนะด้านการบริหารงาน สมรรถนะด้านการตลาด สมรรถนะด้านการสนับสนุนงาน การสาธารณสุขมูลฐาน สมรรถนะด้านการใช้เทคโนโลยีทันสมัย อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง และสมรรถนะ ด้านวิชาการและการวิจัย อยู่ในระดับต่ำ\n2. ภูมิหลังของบุคคลด้านอายุ ประสบการณ์ในการทำงาน ประสบการณ์ในตำแหน่ง และประสบการณ์ในการศึกษาอบรมเฉพาะตำแหน่ง ไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับสมรรถนะโดยรวมของหัวหน้าฝ่ายการพยาบาล \n3. ภูมิหลังของบุคคลด้านระดับการศึกษา มีความสัมพันธ์กับสมรรถนะโดยรวมของ \nหัวหน้าฝ่ายการพยาบาล อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 \n4. คุณลักษณะส่วนบุคคล มีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกในระดับปานกลางกับสมรรถนะ \nโดยรวม อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 \n5. สภาพแวดล้อมในหน่วยงาน ด้านลักษณะและสภาพการทํางานในหน่วยงาน โอกาส ในการแสดงความสามารถ และการมีพี่เลี้ยง มีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกในระดับปานกลาง กับสมรรถนะ โดยรวมของหัวหน้าฝ่ายการพยาบาล อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 \n6. สภาพแวดล้อมในหน่วยงาน ด้านขนาดของโรงพยาบาล และการก้าวหน้าในตำแหน่ง ตามบันไดอาชีพไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับสมรรถนะโดยรวมของหัวหน้าฝ่ายการพยาบาล

การจัดกิจกรรมและสภาพแวดล้อม การเรียนการสอนภาคปฏิบัติ วิชาการพยาบาลผู้สูงอายุ ของอาจารย์พยาบาล ในวิทยาลัยพยาบาล สังกัดสถาบันพระบรมราชชนก (Teaching Activities And Teaching Environment In Clinical Setting In Gerontological Nursing Of Nursing Instructors, Nursing College Under The Jurisdiction Of Prabaromarajchanok Institute), วาสนา ฉัตรเวทิน, พวงเพ็ญ ชุณหปราณ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาการจัดกิจกรรมและสภาพแวดล้อมการเรียนการ สอนภาคปฏิบัติวิชาการพยาบาลผู้สูงอายุ ของอาจารย์พยาบาล ในวิทยาลัยพยาบาล สังกัดสถาบันพระบรมราชชนก จำแนกตาม อายุ วุฒิการศึกษา ประสบการณ์ในการปฏิบัติงานด้านการสอน และการได้รับการฝึกหรืออบรมเกี่ยวกับการพยาบาลผู้สูงอายุ ประชากรและกลุ่มตัวอย่าง คืออาจารย์ พยาบาลซึ่งเป็นผู้จัดการเรียนการสอนภาคปฏิบัติวิชาการพยาบาลผู้สูงอายุ ในวิทยาลัยพยาบาล สังกัดสถาบันพระบรมราชชนก จำนวน 68 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นแบบสอบถามและ แบบสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกที่ผ่านการทดสอบความตรงตามเนื้อหาและมีค่าความเที่ยงเท่ากับ .97 \nผลการวิจัยพบว่าอาจารย์พยาบาลจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนการสอนภาคปฏิบัติวิชาการ พยาบาลผู้สูงอายุในขั้นวางแผน ขั้นดำเนินการ และขั้นประเมินผล อยู่ในระดับสูง ( X = 4.25, 4.05, 4.10 ตามลำดับ) สภาพแวดล้อมการเรียนการสอนทางกายภาพอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง (X = 3.31) และ สภาพแวดล้อมทางจิตใจและสังคมอยู่ในระดับสูง (X = 3.90) การจัดกิจกรรมและสภาพแวดล้อม การเรียนการสอนภาคปฏิบัติวิชาการพยาบาลผู้สูงอายุของอาจารย์พยาบาล จำแนกตามอายุ วุฒิการศึกษา ประสบการณ์ในการปฏิบัติงานด้านการสอน และการได้รับการศึกษาหรืออบรมเกี่ยวกับการพยาบาลผู้สูงอายุไม่แตกต่างกัน การจัดกิจกรรมและสภาพแวดล้อม การเรียนการสอนภาคปฏิบัติ สามารถอธิบายได้ดังนี้ ในขั้นวางแผน อาจารย์พยาบาลมีการประชุมปรึกษาและศึกษาถึงลักษณะวิชา วัตถุประสงค์ของวิชา พร้อมทั้งวางแผนกิจกรรมการเรียนการสอนภาคปฏิบัติ และประสานงานกับแหล่งฝึกภาคปฏิบัติ ทั้งแบบเป็นทางการและไม่เป็นทางการ ในขั้นดำเนินการ พบว่าอาจารย์พยาบาลใช้วิธีการสอนหลาย วิธีผสมผสานกัน และมีการกำหนดให้นักศึกษาจัดกิจกรรมในชมรมผู้สูงอายุหรือสถานสงเคราะห์ เพื่อ ให้นักศึกษามีส่วนร่วมในการเรียนการสอน ในขั้นการประเมินผล พบว่าเกณฑ์การประเมินผลและวิธีการประเมินผล ขึ้นอยู่กับการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนการสอนภาคปฏิบัติของอาจารย์พยาบาล สําหรับ สภาพแวดล้อมทางกายภาพ พบว่าสภาพแวดล้อมทางกายภาพภายในโรงพยาบาล ขาดอุปกรณ์ที่ เอื้อต่อการพยาบาลผู้สูงอายุ แต่ภายในสถานสงเคราะห์มีความเหมาะสมมากกว่า และสภาพแวดล้อม ทางจิตใจและสังคม พบว่าอาจารย์พยาบาล พยาบาลประจําการและนักศึกษาพยาบาลมีสัมพันธภาพที่ดี ต่อกัน

Problem Statement. The purpose of this study is to describe the out-of-class experiences of 21 students who studied in the Saint Mary's College Ireland Program in Maynooth, Ireland, during the 1998-1999 academic year. It examines (1) how the program orientation influenced students' desire to become involved in out-of-class activities, (2) how out-of-class experiences fostered students' learning of the Irish culture, and (3) how the experiences influenced students' attitudes toward cultures other than their own.

This is a comparative study of the moral significance of emotions in Catholic Moral Theology. It is done with reference to Thomas Aquinas, to selected Manualist authors immediately prior to Vatican II, to representative Catholic theologians 1960-1990 and to a sample of contemporary writers from other disciplines. The project argues five points. Firstly, Aquinas sees emotions as designed to have a necessary and constructive significance in moral reasoning and moral development. Development Of A New Electrodeposition Process For Plating Of Zn-Ni-X (X = Cd, P) Alloys: I. Corrosion Characteristics Of Zn-Ni-Cd Ternary Alloys, Anand Durairajan, Bala S. Haran, Ralph E. White, Branko N. Popov

A new Zn-Ni-Cd plating process was developed which offers a unique way of controlling and optimizing the Ni and Cd contents in the final deposit. Zinc-nickel-cadmium alloy was deposited from a 0.5 M NiSO₄ + 0.2 M ZnSO₄ bath in the presence of 0.015 M CdSO₄ and 1 g/L nonyl phenyl polyethylene oxide. Using this process a Zn-Ni-Cd ternary alloy, with a higher nickel content as compared to that obtained from conventional Zn-Ni baths, was synthesized. The Zn-Ni-Cd alloy coatings deposited from an electrolyte containing 0.015 M (0.3%) CdSO₄ has a Zn to Ni ratio of …

Electrochemical impedance and self-discharge studies were carried out to investigate lithium intercalation into bare and Ni-coated KS10 graphite. Values of the charge-transfer resistances, exchange current densities, surface film resistances, and lithium-ion diffusion coefficients as functions of the state of charge (SOC) all favored the 10 wt % Ni composite KS10 graphite over bare KS10 graphite when these materials were used as the negative electrode in a Li-ion cell with mixed organic electrolyte. The charge-transfer resistances were always lower and gave rise to between 26 and 27% larger exchange current densities, which increased from 137 to 614 mA/g as the SOC …

In Frank's Nursery, however, the EEOC pursued court action against an employer that included monetary relief for the employee even though there was an individual arbitration agreement between the employer and employee.5 Should the arbitration agreement restrict the EEOC from bringing such action?
