The n-channel enhancement mode power MOSFET device which is known to have the highest switching speed among the controllable switches group is the device studied in this research work. This commercially packaged device manufactured. by Harris Semiconductor has a combination ofMOSFET and JFET structures superimposed. Copper(II) 4-aminobenzoate (CAB), prepared from copper(II) acetate monohydrate and 4-aminobenzoic acid, was a dark green powder. Fourier Transfonn lnfrared (FTIR) spectrum of CAB, recorded as KBr disc, indicated the presence of all bonds and functional groups expected of it, and the absence of hydrogen bonding. Its conductivity at room temperature was 4.2 x 10^-11 Scm^·1. The value increased as temperature decreased indicating metallic behaviour. Density of states at Fenni level, hopping distance, hopping energy and density of charge carriers calculated based on Mon's Variable Range Hopping model (VRH) are 2.65x 10^-22 (eV)^-1 cm^-3, 7.47 x 10^-8 cm, 0.02 eV and …

Fish and macroinvertebrate distribution and abundance in the Klang Strait (Malaysia) were investigated in relation to waler and bottom sediment characteristics. Thirteen water and bottom sediment parameters were measured and analysed using principal component analysis (PCA). PCA of these parameters distinguished three major habitat groupings in the Klang Strait: ( I) nearshore estuaries and mudflats, characterized by very turbid, lower salinity waters and muddy substrates, (2) offshore sandy habitat centred around the northern half of Angsa Bank, and characterized by less turbid, oxygen-riched and higher salinity water, and (3) offshore very fine sand habitat located largely on the southern half …

The aims of this research are, firstly, to detect the teachers' working motivation level: secondly, to detect the teachers' level of satisfaction towards motivator and hygiene/actors; thirdly, to detect the significant correlation between the satisfactory level towards motivator and hygiene factors, and the working motivation level; and fourthly lo detect the extend in which individual characteristics cause differences in working motivation factor. An inexpensive carrier matrix. vermiculite was used for immobilizing urease. A cost effective and simple method of coupling was developed using vermiculite. Immobilization of urease on Amberlite MB-land Nylon-6 tube were also studied. Activities of free and immobilized urease were studied and compared: Among all methods used for immobilization of urease. the method of coupling the enzyme to vermiculite gave the highest retained activity of 82% (Method I) and 89% (Method 2) at pH 6.0 and 5.5 respectively. The coral reef ecosystem at Cape Rachado, is the only remaining fringing coral reef along the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia. The reef represents an interesting ecosystem with diverse flora and fauna and possesses a critical geographical location at the Straits of Malacca. The reef ecosystem especially the associated seaweed flora, was shown to be sensitive to development when increased silt levels led to loss of sensitive species of seaweeds.
