Paper Session Iii-A - Space Launch Commandos: An Alternate Spproach To How The Military Currently Conducts Space Launch, Daniel P. Lewandowski
Space Congress® Proceedings
The United States is becoming increasingly dependent on space assets for the conduct of peacetime and wartime military operations. The Gulf War was the first “space-age” war in which space based assets played critical roles in communications, navigation, weather prediction, missile launch detection, and intelligence gathering. Future military actions will all depend heavily on space based assets.

The Anchor, Volume 109.24: April 24, 1996, Hope College
The Anchor: 1996
The Anchor began in 1887 and was first issued weekly in 1914. Covering national and campus news alike, Hope College’s student-run newspaper has grown over the years to encompass over two-dozen editors, reporters, and staff. For much of The Anchor's history, the latest issue was distributed across campus each Wednesday throughout the academic school year (with few exceptions). In recent years The Anchor moved to monthly print issues and a more frequently updated website. The Anchor is now published in print twice per academic semester. Occasionally, the volume and/or issue numbering is irregular.

Paper Session I-B - 21st Century Space Commerce Taking-Off From "Aerospaceports", David Tamir, F. Lee Tillotson, Edward Ellegood
Space Congress® Proceedings
This paper describes how Space commerce may grow to partially overlap Air commerce in the 21st century, resulting in the evolution of some of America’s airports and spaceports into “aerospaceports .” Aerospaceports will play a key role in privatization and commercialization of America’s space program by establishing space transportation and associated support services as routine and accessible. Air and Space are closely related frontiers, one being an extension of the other in terms of the environment, science, engineering, government policies, and commerce. We have seen airplanes modified to fly one step further sampling the space environment; NACA transformed into NASA, …

Vcu Voice (1996-04-22)
VCU Voice, 1988-1998
VCU Today, the University’s first official administrative organ, began as a somewhat irregular monthly publication but moved to a bi-weekly newspaper format in the 1980s. The newspaper changed its name to VCU Voice in 1988 and ten years later it appeared under the title UniverCity News. As it neared the end of its run as a physical newspaper, the publication became simply VCU News. These four publications were essentially the same periodical published under different titles by the Office of University Relations. VCU News appeared online for the first time in 2002.
