In Barbados, there has been an increase in violence and disruptive behavior among students at urban secondary schools. The problem is that some Barbadian urban secondary principals struggle to implement the Schools’ Positive Behavior Management Program (SPBMP), while other principals successfully reduce disruptive behaviors. This basic qualitative study explored the perspectives of principals who have successfully implemented and sustained SPBMP at secondary schools in Barbados. Employee onboarding and socialization experienced by local government information technology (IT) employees is an industry issue among those without prior public sector employment. This study entailed an evaluation of the onboarding process by gathering perspectives from a local government IT department to help an organization understand onboarding and socialization needs and desires of new employees. The purpose of this quantitative study was to contribute to the literature for prompting interventions in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA). This study examined the clinical utilization of prompting strategies with verbal operant programming across currently credentialed practitioners. Evidence-based practices are well known, but clinical guidance regarding prompting strategies is still emerging. This gap is potentially related to the lack of a prompting assessment to assist practitioners in creating clients' programming. Burn injuries are wounds that affect the skin and other organic tissue, categorized according to the mechanism of injury and brought on by heat, electricity, chemicals, fire, or flames. Researchers have identified that military-to-civilian transition (MCT) and civilian reintegration is a difficult time for military spouses; as veterans receive transitional assistance and benefits to assist with adjustment, the nonveteran family leaves behind a community of supportive peers and resources. Military spouses feel disconnected and isolated and lack access to service in their civilian community. This case study involved investigating the clinical proficiency of master’s-level clinicians (MLCs) and its impact on client therapeutic outcomes within a behavioral health organization (BHO) in the Southeastern U.S. Using the Baldrige Framework of Excellence, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, organizational data analysis, and a literature review. Key findings highlighted continuity of service, client dissatisfaction, and excess training requirements as themes. Inconsistent clinician performance disrupted client progress, leading to dissatisfaction and frequent therapist changes. Participants expressed hesitation and dissatisfaction with inexperienced therapists, emphasizing the need for improved training and support. This qualitative study addressed a gap in the literature by exploring public health professionals' experiences with WRV threats, what factors contributed to their vulnerability, and the severity of these threats during the COVID-19 pandemic from 2020 to 2023. This study examined the trends in opioid-related hospitalizations and deaths in Ontario, Canada, from 2015, to 2021, with a particular focus on the periods before and after cannabis legalization. The social problem addressed was the ongoing opioid crisis, exacerbated by rising opioid-related health issues. Grounded in the harm reduction theory, this research explored whether cannabis legalization could serve as a substitute to mitigate opioid use disorder. Data were extracted from the Discharge Database, Emergency Department Database, National Ambulatory Care Reporting System, and Hospital Morbidity Database.
