The present work was carried out on twenty-five goats to study the anatomy and sonar as well as Doppler vascular perfusion of kidney in the goat. The ultrasonographic scanning of goat's kidney appeared its cortex oriented as a homogenous hypoechoic area while the medullary pyramids are presented as hypoechoic-anechoic areas deeper than the cortex. The arterial supply of the kidneys of the goat was supplied by the right and the left renal arteries. This study was conducted with two experiments to investigate the efficacy of intravaginal antibiotic or their combination with different gonadotropin use on vaginitis and the fertility in Berrichon ewes. All ewes (n = 106) were synchronized with intravaginal sponges containing 60 mg medroxyprogesterone acetate for 14 days. For the first experiment, ewes (n = 50) received 50 mg enrofloxacin (TRT) to sponge prior to insertion or received no treatment to sponge (CON) during nonbreeding season. In this study, we aimed to determine the number, volume, and lumbosacral enlargement of the lumbosacral segments using stereology methods. In accordance with the study, 10 adult geese (regardless of sex) which were healthy and weighing 3-4 kg was chosen. After the geese had been perfused with 10% formaldehyde, the lumbosacral parts of their spinal cord were revealed by dissection. After each segment of the lumbosacral section had been separated, tissue samples were obtained from these segments. The present research assessed the effect of different levels of Pueraria lobate leaf (PLL) on growth performance, immunity, antioxidant capacity, and blood index in broiler feed. A total of 384 at 21 days old chicks were assigned to 1 of 4 dietary treatments to examine the benefits of basal diet, basal diet +1% PLL, basal diet +2% PLL and basal diet +3% PLL. In this study, different applications of ram introduction at the beginning of the breeding season were investigated in terms of their effects on some fertility parameters. The rams were introduced to the herd (Farm II), removed for 6 days, and reintroduced again in the experiment group, while the rams stayed within the herd (Farm I) all of the breeding season in the control group. In both farms, ewes were hand mated. These practices were performed in two consecutive breeding seasons of 2014 and 2015. The aim of the present study was to investigate the effects of a combination of crude glycerin and waste sesame seed on the growth performance, rumen fermentation, carcass characteristics, and meat fatty acid profile of lambs. This study aimed to determine the Salmonella spp. presence in 100 chicken meat samples (25 breasts and 25 drumsticks with skin and 25 breasts and 25 drumsticks without skin) that were collected between February and April, 2021, in Van, Türkiye and investigate the antibiotic resistance profiles of the isolates. Dirofilaria immitis (D. immitis); is a parasitic zoonosis with a prevalence of 53.8%, whose intermediate host is mosquitoes (Anopheles, Aedes, Culex, Taeniorhychus, Mansonia and Armigenes), final hosts are carnivores (dog, cat, fox, etc.) and humans. The causative agent settles in the pulmonary arteries and causes pulmonary hypertension, which can progress to congestive heart failure. In this study, avian coronavirus infectious bronchitis virus (IBV), infectious laryngotracheitis virus (ILTV), avian metapneumovirus (AMPV), and avian reovirus (ARV) were evaluated in broiler and layer flocks. For this purpose, tracheal swabs from 48 broiler and 45 layer flocks with respiratory signs were inoculated SPF embryonated chicken eggs for virus isolation. The viruses were identified by real-time PCR. Results showed that the most common virus in both broiler and layer farms was IBV with incidence rates of 58.33% and 46.67%, respectively. Eighteen female Sahiwal calves of average four month of age and 54 kg body weight were selected for the study. The animals were divided into three groups (T0, T1, and T2) on body weight basis. This study was conducted to determine the effect of nonfiber carbohydrates (NFC) and crude protein (CP) present in formula feed on the rumen fermentation characteristics and growth performance of weaned Hanwoo calves. Forty weaned calves were randomly assigned to four dietary groups based on NFC and CP levels as follows: high NFC (HN) at 38%-42%, low NFC (LN) at 33%-36%, high CP (HP) at 25%-26%, and low CP (LP) at 23%-24%. In this study, two successive generations of queens belonging to a native Bombus terrestris population in the Central Black Sea Region of Türkiye were reared under controlled laboratory conditions to examine its developmental characteristics and suitability for mass production. In this study; the antibiotic resistance properties of Extended Spectrum ßeta-lactamase (ESßL), Amp-C, carbapenemase-producing Escherichia coli (E. coli) strains isolated from chicken breast meat were determined by disc diffusion and E-test methods. In this study, we aimed to investigate the effect of metabolic syndrome on spermatozoon morphology and histological, histochemical, histomorphometric changes in the testes. Twenty-four male Sprague Dawley rats (60 day-olds) were used for this purpose. The rats in the control group were fed only water and rat food, while the rats in the experimental group were fed with water containing 20% D-fructose and rats food for 16 weeks with ad libitum. The current research investigated the growth performance, hematology, serum biochemistry of Japanese quails fed Neem (Azadirachta indica) and Tulsi (Ocimum sanctum) leaves powder with basic diet. A total number of 300 one-week old Japanese quail chicks were divided randomly into four dietary treatments with five replicates each (15 birds per replicate). Dietary treatments were: T0 or control or basal diet, T1 (Neem 0.5%), T2 (Tulsi 1%) and T3 (Neem 0.25% + Tulsi 0.5%) in basal diet. This study was carried out in crossbred cows (>60 DIM) to evaluate leukocyte esterase (LE) strip test, protein strip test, pH strip test, white side test (WST) of estrual mucus, in comparison to endometrial cytology (EC) using cytobrush (CB) as reference diagnostic method for subclinical endometritis (SCE). Endometrial cytology was done in 78 cows with ≥4% PMNs as cut-off value for SCE.
