This research study is a descriptive study of the effectiveness of the psychiatric staffing as determined by a follow-up study of fifty-two Richmond Public School Pupils given such staffing during the l966-67 school year. The review of pertinent literature reveals what others have contributed to the knowledge of the nature and function of the school helping team. The teamwork approach, which involves the efforts of several professions and disciplines working closely together, is seen as the best present method to meet the complex, overlapping needs which have been found to affect students' learning.

The mechanical breakage of tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) due to the action of acoustic transients has been investigated. The acoustic transients were produced by transient heating of a Prussian blue dye solution (attenuation coefficient of 1000 per cm) when a ruby laser light (20 x 10⁶ watts) was incident on the dye surface. A quartz piezoelectric transducer was used to determine the amplitude and form of the acoustic wave. Analysis of hemogobins were conducted on animals of the species Ambystoma tigrinum. Separation of hemoglobin types was performed with a Carboxy-methyl-cellulose column (6 X 50 mm.) and pH gradient (pH 6 thru 8) of .01 M phosphate buffer. The hemoglobins in the effluent were detected and analysed with a micro-flow cell in a Beck-man DB-G spectrophotometer attached to a Photovolt Varicord 43 recorder. Two major components of hemoglobin were observed: larval and adult. These two components varied in concentration with the stage of development of the individual. A study of the ecology and life history of the whitetailed jack rabbit (Lepus townsendii campanius Hollister, 1915) was conducted in North Dakota between April, 1964 and December, 1965. The objectives of this study included investigations of sex and age characteristics, reproduction, growth and development, movement and habitat utilization, and population structure. Growth and development, reproduction, and population characteristics were determined by autopsy of 836 jack rabbits collected in 21 consecutive months throughout North Dakota. Ear tagging and radio telemetry techniques were utilized to determine movement and home range.
