Tele-hospice is changing the provision of on-demand hospice and palliative care. A retrospective, descriptive study was completed examining comfort and emotional support that caregivers of community-based hospice patients derived from using electronic tablets. 667 survey responses were obtained. Data analysis included Pearson product moment correlations and Wilcoxon signed ranks tests.

Teamwork is critical to quality service delivery due to increasing co-morbidity and complexities of specialization of care. This study examined teamwork among health care workers in a tertiary hospital in Nigeria. Barriers including conflicts and discrimination at workplace had more influence on teamwork than their level of knowledge of teamwork.

Prior to 2007, bullying in 42 urban schools was rampant. In sample school, around 1,200 students got bullied per school-year. Root cause analysis was done and evidence-based interventions were conducted from 2007 to 2013. A policy was launched district-wide. In school-year 2017-2018, there were 13 reported bullying in sample school.

Oral midazolam has been the premedication of choice for healthy pediatric patients undergoing elective surgical procedures. However, undesirable adverse effects include respiratory depression, paradoxical reactions, and postoperative behavioral changes. Intranasal dexmedetomidine produces satisfactory preoperative sedation levels, facilitates parental separation, and has better analgesic properties than oral midazolam without respiratory depression.

This quantitative study considered perceived stress and positive psychological capital (hope, efficacy, resilience, and optimism) through a health literacy renal simulation. Examining 41 nursing students" responses throughout the experience, these factors were further understood; subsequently, deficits can be identified in novice nurses' careers leading to future engagement as healthcare providers.

C-sections are one of the most common surgical procedures performed in the United States. Patients undergoing these procedures typically receive opioids for control of postoperative pain. Considering the national opioid crisis, our project team utilized TAP blocks post c-section to decrease opioid intake and provide improved outcomes for our patients.
