Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is responsible for 26,900 cancer cases each year in the USA, but not all teenagers are vaccinated against it. This project examines vaccine initiation rates before and after implementation of a multi-modal protocol at a nurse-run immunization clinic. Rates increased with use of same way/same day recommendations.

Van Manen (1990) hermeneutic qualitative phenomenological study of lived experience of infertility among married Southeastern Nigerian women, using qualitative methodology of data collection and analysis, with emerged themes of challenging, dehumanizing, disharmonizing, and hoping with one subtheme of adopting. Pamela Reed"s Theory of Self-Transcendence framework was used. Findings embodied infertility experiences.

Participants will get an overview about the healthcare professionals' and patients' perceptions of teamwork and collaboration at tertiary hospital in Oman. The response rate was 92%, 70% and 73% for nurses, physicians and patients respectively. This study indicated that collaboration from different perspectives stands in an excellent level.

Community-based choral singing, a complementary therapy, is studied to assess its impact on survivorship by decreasing stress and anxiety, improving mood, and increasing resilience. Nurses, nurse practitioners, and music therapists may improve survivors" outcomes and caregivers" well-being by including interventions such as choral singing in their survivorship care-plans.

Findings were common for texting, calling and information seeking and its use increased with the more educated, higher position and more years’ experience as a nurse. The study was conducted to explore the factors related to self reported sleep quality among older Korean Americans with chronic pain. Older Korean Americans with chronic pain showed significantly different levels of quality of life, pain and depression symptoms depending on their level of sleep quality.

Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) medication is used to reduce acquiring HIV. PrEP does not protect against sexually transmitted infections. A literature review was performed, and it was found that in individuals on PrEP, there is reduced condom use, increasing STIs. Education and STI testing need to be performed at each visit.

Self-medication is increasing internationally. It is associated with harmful impacts in patient's outcomes and healthcare systems. The results of the study identified the predictors of self-medication among university students in Oman.The results highlights the importance of emphasizing the implementation of laws that regulate drug prescribing and distributing.
