The effect of compassion fatigue and compassion satisfaction on nurses' caring behaviors in a Sub Saharan context will be discussed. Evidence that modifiable variables may increase caring behaviors by nurses will be explored and implications for practice and education offered.

This integrative review explored two questions: family perception of being present at a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR); and family experience with being present during CPR. Twelve studies met the inclusion criteria. This review supports the need for hospital policy regarding family presence during CPR.

Despite high rates of unplanned pregnancy and other negative sexual outcomes, detailed descriptions of Scottish adolescents sexual behaviors and risk reduction strategies are limited.We conducted in-depth focus groups with 18 teens ages 16-19, both male and female, to gain understanding of these behaviors in preparation for intervention modification.

The T-SDKS was linguistically and psychometrically validated for assessing the diabetes knowledge of Thai people with T2DM. This study has demonstrated that it can be used in busy clinical settings to provide data to clinicians. The data from the T-SDKS can be used to improve health education interventions.

This paper presents findings from a multi-phase mixed methods study undertaken in Kenya in 2014/15. The study utilised WHO-AIMS to perform a mental health care gap analysis.
