This project reveals surprising results regarding how nurse leaders assess their ethical decision-making practice before and after attending ethical leadership training. Contrary to the Dunning-Kruger effect, immediately after participating, self-assessment scores elevated. Results endorse nurse leaders' benefit from collaboration and sharing best practice.

Maternal outcomes are a growing concern for hospitals across the nation. The post-partum patient experiencing medical complications requires complex interprofessional team involvement. A mobile optimized web app to support tuberculosis (TB) medication adherence is being iteratively designed with patients and experts. Findings from individual and focus group interviews informed the next iteration of the app and will be piloted among newly diagnosed TB patients in Argentina.

A practice change initiative was implemented which aimed to reduce separation of maternal-newborn dyads after Cesarean delivery at a small community-based hospital. This study evaluated if maternal-newborn proximity after Cesarean birth improved early skin-to-skin care practices and initiation of breastfeeding within the first hour of life.

To determine the impact of Arts-Based Pedagogy (ABP) on current and future clinical skills, nursing students completed arts-based assignments. ABP is a teaching methodology integrating art and a subject matter to impact learning. ABP positively affected students' critical thinking, thus better preparing them for increasingly complex healthcare environments.
