The impact of medication nonadherence is staggering--patients have a 5.4 times increased risk of hospitalization, re-hospitalization, or premature death low or nonadherence. A smart medication organizer was developed to address this problem by creating a partnership between patient and family member with support from a medication adherence specialist.

Six core symptom clusters occurring among patients with CKD included the mental and emotional condition, peripheral nerves abnormality, fatigue, gastro-intestinal tract problem, pain, and uremic symptoms. The symptom clusters of pain, and the mental and emotional conditions could predict quality of life at 19.10 %.

Qualitative and quantitative approaches were used to understand the effects of mindfulness-based interventions on nurses' awareness and mood. A pre- and post-test design was used in this study. The results of GEE method showed that that there were no significantly differences between these two groups in both CMAAS and BSRS-5.

The results of 107 primary caregivers collected from May, 27. to June, 27, 2014 showed that the biggest stress perceived by caregiver was the patients' disease characteristics. If the clinical staff provided the information of the disease and treatment timely, the caregivers were satisfied with the domain of care needs.
