The design, development and implementation of a serious virtual game about urosepsis in the elderly is discussed. The virtual game preparation was part of a research project on the use of a serious simulation game versus traditional simulation preparation for students to prepare for simulation-based learning.

Unintended adolescent pregnancy troubles on family health system. This family health care intervention was conducted for improving family health as a whole. The result displayed that most of family had better health outcomes after implementation. However, family health care innovation is needed for achieving family health care goals.

Nursing students experience significant stress that can lead to physiological and psychosocial disturbances. Regular mindfulness practice can lead to reduced stress. The purposes of this study were to identify (1) the level of stress in the beginning and end of the semester and (2) student perception of benefits of mindfulness.

Little is known about the experience of traumatic amputation for Haitian Adults. The purpose of this descriptive phenomenological study was to investigate the lived experience of traumatic amputations as talked about by eight female Haitian adults who suffered an amputation as a result of the 2010 earthquake in Haiti.

Internet self-efficacy is a proven predictor of online student success, but there is limited information measuring the relationship of online orientation courses and student self-efficacy. This study evaluated the effect mandatory online orientation course exposure had on RN-BSN online student mastery of program requirements, thereby increasing student self-efficacy.

Inclusion of disability education in nursing curricula is limited. The literature reveals that frequent and repeated clinical exposure of students to people with disabilities(PWD)impacts attitudes, knowledge and skills. A disability fellowship for nursing students was established to diminish barriers which improve PWD's health outcomes and decrease disparities.

Traditional communities undergo the challenges of change in family lifestyle, gender roles and social norms; and these changes strongly influence adolescent sexually.
