Despite the prevalence of chronic pain globally that similarly impacts Asian Immigrants (AIs), there is an evident gap in the literature as to how AIs managed their chronic pain. Chemotherapy Induced Neuropathy (CIN) is experienced by a majority of oncology patients who have had chemotherapy. Unfortunately, there is no treatment for such debilitating effects. Auricular point acupressure is a complimentary therapy that uses stimulation of specific ear points to address pain and this intervention was explored to address CIN.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship of nursing students' moral sensitivity, patient safety attitudes, and perceptions of open disclosure of patient safety incidents. Controlling for general characteristics, patient safety attitudes affected greater than moral sensitivity for all perceptions of open disclosure.

A high prevalence of sleep disorders for patients with breast cancer have occurred and sleep disorders were negatively associated with PQOL and MQOL. Additionally, neuroticism was positively related to sleep disorders and could be relevant to psycho-educational interventions.

The amount of time patients spend for clinic services can influence their degree of satisfaction. We evaluated the time HIV patients spent in each service area and their overall satisfaction of services. Additionally, in-depth interviews of clinical staff provided their perceptions of patient satisfaction, patient-centered care and recommendations for change.
