Gastric cancer was the fifth frequently diagnosed and the third leading cause of cancer deaths worldwide in 2018. Gastric cancer survivors experience multiple disease- and treatment-related symptoms. We conducted a qualitative study to explore the symptom clusters among patients and to inform future self-management research targeted on the symptom clusters.

This study examined the neurobehavioral effects related to time slept per day, sleep efficiency, and sleep quality. Actigraph sleep watches and the Pittsburg Quality Sleep Index were used to assess sleep. Study results showed significant relationships with several neurobehavioral measures.

The high prevalence of foot problems in older adults necessitates preventative foot self-care. This feasibility study evaluated a foot care self-management program on community-dwelling older adults without diabetes. Implementation of best practices may protect foot health, preserve function and mobility, and extend older adults' healthy, active years of life.

Weight bias has been shown to negatively affect the health of patients with obesity. Such biases remain despite best efforts to remove them. Esophageal cancer and treatment affects patient support needs. Patients identify support needs regarding information, individualization, holism, anticipation, goals, navigation and resources. Approximately 30% of adults in Uganda have hypertension, a significant modifiable risk factor for cardiovascular disease. A mixed method study to evaluate nurse-led interventions to enhance lifestyle modifications and improve patient outcomes is currently being implemented in Kampala, Uganda. The collaborative multinational development process and preliminary results will be presented.

Our study is the first to explore nursing students learning experience regarding anatomical paedagogy on psychophysiological responses and achievement. The humanised anatomy course provided an earlier opportunity of death confrontation for students. This study suggests that anatomy using cadavers is an effective teaching method to improve students engagement with class.

This study examines the cognitive profiles of older adults with schizophrenia and/or schizoaffective disorders indexed by intelligence quotient (IQ) and the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MOCA). Of our participants, 39% exhibited cognitive impairment and results suggest that the nonverbal deficit was greater than the verbal deficit.

We have provided psychoeducation program to in-patients with schizophrenia in acute psychiatric ward, but participants were fewer than we expected. Participants were young and had milder symptoms than non-participants, but insight and adherence did not differ significantly among them.

Findings from a review of current literature indicated a lack of any existing models for linking eligible SUD patients to PrEP services. Youth and neuroticism were found to be significant risk factors for developing depressive symptoms in female victims of Intimate partner violence, whereas extraversion was found to be a related protective factor.
