Limited evidence exists regarding the relationship between perinatal substance use (PSU) and perinatal depression/anxiety (PDA), although negative outcomes on PSU and PDA are well documented individually. This scoping review identifies associations between PSU and PDA and research gaps that inform development of future studies to improve care of childbearing women.

Insomnia is associated with depression, suicidal thoughts and chronic conditions. Unique cultural contexts of insomnia in Veterans -- particularly those with a history of TBI or PTSD are discussed. Veteran's perception of insomnia utilizing the Insomnia Severity Index are presented with specific collaborative interventions to improve global health outcomes of insomnia patients.

Occlusion rate of percutaneous central venous catheters (PCVC) in NICU is 7.2%. The increased occlusion rate factors is lack of assessment checklist -- staff training and recognition of high-risk population. Our solutions included establishing a assessment checklist -- Enhancing caregiver's cognitive and care skills for PCVC care.The occlusion rate decreased from 7.2% to 3.4%.
