Low back pain is the leading cause of disability. In USA, it disproportionately affects racial minorities and individuals of lower socioeconomic status. We found that for Whites higher social status correlate with lower depressive symptoms and pain, but for Blacks higher social status correlate with higher depressive symptoms and pain.

Family care givers experiences' on patients undergoing Renal Replacement Therapy is yet to be explored in Rwanda. This qualitative, descriptive, contextualized study conducted in three referral hospitals dialysis centers. Data was collected by semi structured interview and content analysis was used to analyze the data. Five major themes were elicited.

This study is about cognitive debriefing findings on the English-Korean translation of of perception of workplace violence questionnaire and shortened perception of aggression scale. For translation and transcultural adaptation, we used foward translation, backward translation, confirmation for English consistency, cognitive debriefing by nurses and experts, and pilot testing in nurses.

Validation Of A Pediatric Nurse Parent Partnership Scale For Pediatric Nurse, Mi-Young Choi, Ju-Yeon Uhm

This study aimed to validate the Pediatric Nurse Parent Partnership Scale (PNPPS) and assess its psychometric properties for pediatric nurses. The final PNPPS comprised 19 items and showed that the confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) supported the five-factor structure (reciprocity, professional knowledge and skill, sensitivity, information sharing, and communication).

This study aimed to develop and test the “retention empowerment program” based on positive psychology. Findings showed that this program increase the retention positive energy, psychological empowerment, nursing commitment, job satisfaction, and intention to stay. We recommend nurse managers may adopt this program to enhance nurses' retention in nursing.

Vitamin D potentially plays a role in maternal health outcomes partly through the regulation of genes linked to vital physiologic processes.
