This interventional study explored the feasibility and preliminary impact of combining an animated educational video with standard of care education for patients with breast cancer referred for radiation therapy. Feasibility was determined and preliminary data showed a change in scores for patient reported anxiety, distress, and radiotherapy treatment concerns.

We longitudinally examined employment status and quality of life with 199 laryngectomized patients. QOL assessed by the SF-36 was low until twelve months after discharge. Using Computerized System To Improve The Handover Completion Rate Between Doctors And Nurses, Hsiang-Ting Feng, Chiao-Wen Chang

A effective handover has significant benefits for patients. This article describes the application of PDCA approach using computerized system to increase the handover completion rate between doctors and nurses. In the final, the handover completion rate percentage increased from 61% to 91% over the 4-month intervention.

The study suggests that integration of mother's breast milk odor or taste, heartbeat sounds, and tactile non-nutritive sucking should be considered as an intervention for alleviation of procedural pain for preterm infants. Clinicians should incorporate the integrated sensory intervention into caregiving support for preterm infants undergoing short painful procedures.
