Powder Collector For Elastomeric Materials, Hp Inc Dec 2021

Powder Collector For Elastomeric Materials, Hp Inc

Defensive Publications Series

Cake is when a material “sticks” together with itself, leading to large spongy regions of powder.

This can be a serious problem during printing as it can lead to large amount of powder waste if the

caking material is not well controlled. It can lead to the failure of jobs due to the powder spreading

poorly hence poorly fused parts, and furthermore in some cases the material is unable to be

recycled. Elastomeric materials are more susceptible to caking, however it can occur in any powder

if the thermal process is not well controlled.

Open Source License Text Matching And Reporting, Armijn Hemel

Defensive Publications Series

When using open source software it is important to find out under which open source license the software was released under, as this determines what can and cannot be done with the software. There are many open source software licenses with different license terms that are not always compatible with each other. Different pieces of software released under incompatible software licenses cannot be combined with each other. It is therefore necessary to find out which licenses are declared in source code and correctly report these. Source code repositories or releases that are open source licensed almost always contain a text …

Temp Smart Boot, Hp Inc

Defensive Publications Series

We never got complaints from end users, complaining that

the system boot‐up didn’t run successfully; for example, the

power LED had become white colour, but no display; the

phenomena looked pretty like the case that power sequence

execution doesn’t go through successfully. Following some

experiments and debugging aftermath in the lab, we in the

end finding the extreme low ambient temp was the culprit

behind this issue; the extreme low ambient temp was already

below the system low operation temp specs.
