Handovers between wireless local area networks (e.g., Wi-Fi networks) and Evolved UMTS Terrestrial Radio Access (E-UTRA) Radio Access Technology (RAT) networks (e.g., Wi-Fi to E-UTRA or E-UTRA to Wi-Fi) are common scenarios for wireless user equipment. Presented herein are techniques that can avoid, per handover, at least one N4 interaction being performed between a Session Management Function (SMF) and a User Plane Function (UPF), which can help to achieve quicker handovers, can help to avoid data loss during handovers, and can improve SMF and UPF performance by reducing processing of such network functions.

Techniques described herein prevent a General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) Tunneling Protocol (GTP-U) error indication from being generated from the user plane during a network-initiated session or bearer deletion, which saves overall network and radio resources and reduces the operating expenditures for the operator. In addition, techniques described herein eliminate additional Packet Forwarding Control Protocol (PFCP) signaling between the control plane and the user plane nodes, which increases the reliability and provides faster communication of messages over the Sx/N4 interfaces.

Currently, the support for graceful insertion and removal (GIR) within a Protocol-Independent Multicast (PIM) environment is limited. As a result, there is no mechanism today that allows for a soft migration of flows when, for example, planning for a maintenance window. A text-to-speech (TTS) converter typically comprises a prosodic model that generates acoustic parameters from linguistic features paired with a neural vocoder. With such a configuration, some feature values can be difficult for the neural vocoder to process, resulting in audio artifacts. In some cases, participants in an online meeting would like to know meeting-specific information about other participants in the online meeting. Techniques described herein collect meeting- or context-specific data for each participant in an online conference/meeting from multiple sources and apply an information filter to allow other authorized participants to view specific information about the participant. According to additional techniques discussed herein, agents collect the context-specific information from an enterprise database and filter the information that can be viewed by different participants based on their roles.
