Predicting Permission Prompt Desirability Using On-Device Visual And Textual Content Features, Anh Minh Le, Judith Ulrike Hemp, Enrico Bacis, Balazs Csaba Engedy, Elias Klim, Igor Bilogrevic

Web browser permission prompts are frequently triggered without sufficient context, leading to user annoyance, decision fatigue, and potential exposure risks. Existing methods for managing these prompts often rely on aggregate site statistics or historical user behavior, which can fail to account for the immediate relevance of a request to the current page content. Such systems may also inadvertently promote deceptive practices if users are frequently misled into granting permissions.
To address these limitations, a method is disclosed for generating a contextual relevance score for permission requests using on-device multimodal analysis. When a permission is requested, a snapshot of the current …

Copy Link Attributes Using A Single Gesture, Christoph Sperl
Defensive Publications Series
This disclosure relates to techniques for interacting with hyperlinks within digital content without triggering navigation to associated resources. In situations where a user intends to copy hyperlink text or a corresponding uniform resource locator (URL), conventional approaches typically require manual text selection, context menu commands, or keyboard modifiers. These approaches often involve multiple input steps and may result in unintended hyperlink activation or inaccurate text selection.
The present disclosure describes a computing system configured to detect a sustained selection of a hyperlink and initiate a drag gesture associated with the selected hyperlink. During the sustained selection and drag gesture, default …

Synchronized Synthetic Global-Shutter And Rolling-Shutter Camera Images, Zheng Huai, Sazzadur Rahman, Chao Guo
Defensive Publications Series
This disclosure describes a method and wearable system for generating synchronized synthetic images from heterogeneous cameras, including a global-shutter (GS) camera and a rolling-shutter (RS) camera, within a simulated environment. GS cameras capture all pixels simultaneously, while RS cameras capture images sequentially row by row, causing different rows to correspond to different capture times and making synchronization difficult. The disclosed method addresses this challenge by reconstructing a rolling-shutter image using multiple global-shutter images generated at calculated timestamps. Using rolling-shutter parameters such as exposure time and readout time, the system computes row-level timestamps relative to a center-of-exposure (COE) reference time associated …
Policy-Bound Governance For Privacy-Preserving Multi-Agent Ai Systems Across Multiple Service Providers, Niranjan M M
Policy-Bound Governance For Privacy-Preserving Multi-Agent Ai Systems Across Multiple Service Providers, Niranjan M M
Defensive Publications Series
In modern agentic AI environments, autonomous agents dynamically exchange prompts, embeddings, intermediate reasoning states, tool outputs, and memory artifacts, often across geographic regions and infrastructure owned by different providers. Existing solutions govern data primarily at storage boundaries or API entry points, leaving significant gaps during agent reasoning, delegation, and cross-provider execution.
The proposed solution addresses this challenge by binding privacy and governance policies directly to AI artifacts and enforcing those policies at runtime, before any agent action is executed. Each AI artifact carries immutable policy metadata that specifies permitted regions, providers, agent roles, purposes of use, and retention constraints. Autonomous …

Line Crossing Based Unauthorized Movement Detection From Video Footage, Na
Defensive Publications Series
This disclosure describes techniques of line-crossing detection in security camera footage. A security officer or another authorized viewer of the footage draws a line within the field-of-view. The line can be annotated with a direction, such that a person crossing the line in one direction triggers an alarm but crossing it in the opposite direction does not. Person IDs and bounding boxes for each detected person in the time window of interest are retrieved. The coordinates and directionality of drawn lines are retrieved. The bounding boxes are grouped by person ID. Bounding boxes within a group are ordered by timestamp. …
