Transaction-Outcome Driven Adaptive Logging, Chao Feng, Kelu Zhang, Wenliang Li, Peng Xu, Xiangjun Meng

Defensive Publications Series

Presented herein is a system, referred to as Transaction-Outcome Driven Adaptive Logging (TODAL), that is an innovative system that resolves the critical trade-off between comprehensive diagnostic logging and operational efficiency on complex network devices. It achieves this by capturing all log data at the highest verbosity into an internal buffer, then intelligently processing and outputting only key summary information for successful operations, while providing full detailed logs exclusively for failed transactions. This approach not only ensures comprehensive troubleshooting data is always available when needed, but also significantly reduces system resource consumption and extends the effective retention period of relevant logs.

An Ai Enabled Enterprise Question-Answering (Qa) System Optimized For Scalability, Privacy Awareness And Efficiency, Hp Inc Mar 2026

An Ai Enabled Enterprise Question-Answering (Qa) System Optimized For Scalability, Privacy Awareness And Efficiency, Hp Inc

Defensive Publications Series

A cross-team enterprise chat system comes with a set of challenges, not typically addressed in an out of the box solution. A large enterprise tends to have hundreds of thousands of unstructured documents that continues to grow exponentially in number over time. A standard RAG system or a traditional Question-Answer Mapping (QA) AI agent built on top of such a corpus would be impractical and inefficient as it would need to comb through the entire knowledge base to fetch relevant data to the user’s query. The existence of data in multiple silos with different teams further complicates the issue, as …

Post-Silicon Performance Prediction, N/A

Defensive Publications Series

The present disclosure is directed to generating architecture-aware voltage-frequency (VF) scaling curves for semiconductor designs utilizing logic depth normalization to predict post-silicon performance across diverse process, voltage, and temperature (PVT) corners. An approach involves ingesting raw library characterization data for representative standard cells and converting target frequencies into a normalized metric based on cell-specific propagation delays. By iterating through multiple critical path compositions, the approach can identify a worst-case stage depth that represents the architectural speed limit of the design across all corners. This limiting constraint is then mapped back to the raw delay data across a full voltage spectrum …

Aperiodic Geometric Stabilization Of Bi-Ionic Plasma Flows, Daniel Schramm Mar 2026

Aperiodic Geometric Stabilization Of Bi-Ionic Plasma Flows, Daniel Schramm

Defensive Publications Series

This disclosure specifies a method for preventing magnetic "pinch factor" instabilities and thermal collapse in high-energy plasma confinement and propulsion systems. Unlike traditional systems that rely on active computer-controlled feedback loops to manage resonance, this framework utilizes the Golden Ratio (approximately 1.618) as a structural constant within the rotational velocity vectors of the plasma. By ensuring a non-repeating rotational ratio between ionic streams, the system mathematically forbids periodic harmonic resonance, creating a self-stabilizing Quasicrystal Magnetic Lattice. This allows for the recycling of waste energy into the stabilization field, ensuring a high-efficiency, win-win energy loop.

Regulatory Calendar-Driven Periodic Requalification Without Document Change Analysis, Kenneth Davis Mar 2026

Regulatory Calendar-Driven Periodic Requalification Without Document Change Analysis, Kenneth Davis

Defensive Publications Series

Field Computer-implemented systems for triggering employee requalification based on regulatory calendar expiration rather than document change detection, applicable to compliance domains where periodic recertification is mandated regardless of whether reference content has changed. Background Many compliance regimes mandate periodic employee retraining on fixed schedules: annual harassment training, biennial OSHA refresher courses, quarterly anti-money-laundering updates. These requirements are triggered by the passage of time, not by changes to authoritative documents. The approach described here manages requalification purely through calendar logic, with no document ingestion, versioning, or analysis of any kind. Technical Description The system maintains a regulatory_calendar table mapping each compliance …

Behavioral Feature Vector Drift Detection For Post-Remediation Knowledge Deficit Recurrence Monitoring, Kenneth Davis

Defensive Publications Series

Field Computer-implemented systems for detecting recurrence of previously remediated employee knowledge deficits. This publication describes an approach that uses behavioral feature vectors derived from user interaction patterns rather than semantic embeddings derived from natural language text. Background After an employee completes remediation for a knowledge deficit, organizations need to determine whether the same deficit comes back during subsequent work. One established approach compares dense semantic embeddings of text communications against stored vector fingerprints using cosine similarity. The approach described here operates on a fundamentally different input type: behavioral interaction patterns encoded as feature vectors, not semantic representations of language. Technical …

Admin-Configured Role Template Task Mapping For Document-Change-Triggered Requalification, Kenneth Davis

Defensive Publications Series

Field Computer-implemented systems for targeting employee requalification after document changes using administrator-configured role templates that map tasks to document sections, rather than automatically generated assessment-to-section attribution records. Background Organizations define roles as collections of tasks, each requiring knowledge of specific document sections. When documents change, the question is which employees need retraining on which tasks. The approach described here uses the existing admin-configured role structure as the targeting mechanism. Technical Description Administrators define role templates in a role_templates configuration table. Each entry contains: role_template_id, task_id, doc_id, and section_id. A single role template may contain dozens of task entries, each mapped …

Comparative Quiz Score Regression For Document-Change-Triggered Employee Requalification, Kenneth Davis Mar 2026

Comparative Quiz Score Regression For Document-Change-Triggered Employee Requalification, Kenneth Davis

Defensive Publications Series

Field Computer-implemented systems for identifying which employees require requalification after authoritative document updates by administering updated assessments and comparing scores against historical performance, rather than tracing document changes to employees through section-level attribution records. Background When a reference document is updated, one approach maps the changes to the specific document sections each employee was previously assessed on, then targets requalification to only those employees whose assessments covered changed sections. The approach described here takes a different path entirely: instead of analyzing what changed in the document and tracing it back to employees, it generates a new assessment from the updated …

Petri Net Conformance Checking For Knowledge Gap Detection From Enterprise Workflow Event Logs, Kenneth Davis Mar 2026

Petri Net Conformance Checking For Knowledge Gap Detection From Enterprise Workflow Event Logs, Kenneth Davis

Defensive Publications Series

Field Computer-implemented systems for detecting employee knowledge deficits by analyzing conformance deviations between employee process execution patterns and expert-derived reference process models, using process mining algorithms on structured workflow event logs. Background Enterprise workflow systems generate detailed event logs recording every step an employee takes in a business process. When an employee repeatedly deviates from the expected process (skipping steps, adding unnecessary steps, executing steps out of order), this pattern can indicate a knowledge deficit in the underlying domain. The approach described here applies industrial process mining techniques to detect these deviations and attribute them to specific knowledge domains. Technical …

Knowledge Dependency Graph Traversal For Document-Change-Triggered Employee Requalification, Kenneth Davis

Defensive Publications Series

Field Computer-implemented systems for determining which employees require requalification when authoritative reference documents are updated. This publication describes an approach that uses a knowledge dependency graph rather than section-level source-attribution records with reverse-index traversal. Background When a reference document changes, organizations need to identify which employees must be retrained and on what content specifically. One approach maintains per-assessment source-attribution records binding each employee's assessment to the specific document sections tested, then performs a reverse lookup when sections change. The approach described here uses a separate knowledge graph that abstracts documents into atomic concepts with dependency relationships. Technical Description The system …

Integrated Aperiodic Geometric Stabilization For Soft-Robotic Actuation And Kinetic Damping Lattices., Daniel Schramm Mar 2026

Integrated Aperiodic Geometric Stabilization For Soft-Robotic Actuation And Kinetic Damping Lattices., Daniel Schramm

Defensive Publications Series

This disclosure establishes the foundational math for high-precision, low-energy soft robotics and protective apparel. By utilizing the Golden Ratio (\phi) as a rotational and structural constant, we eliminate the "Pinch Factor" (mechanical resonance) and enable near-total energy recovery (92%+) in dynamic systems.

Core Technical Pillars:

1. Aperiodic Joint Articulation: Robotic joints and suit hinges are tuned to a non-integer frequency (f_1 = \omega, f_2 = \omega \cdot \phi). This prevents constructive wave interference, ensuring fluid motion without "dead zones" or "locking."

2. Kinetic Waste Harvesting: Using the Tractor Gradient Identity F = \nabla (\mathbf{m} \cdot \mathbf{B}), the system converts deceleration …

Kinetic Waste Recovery Via Induced Dipole Moment Gradients, Daniel Schramm Mar 2026

Kinetic Waste Recovery Via Induced Dipole Moment Gradients, Daniel Schramm

Defensive Publications Series

This disclosure specifies a method for capturing and recycling kinetic and electromagnetic waste energy in high-energy plasma environments. By utilizing a controlled magnetic field gradient and the induced dipole moment of ionized exhaust or ambient particles, the system generates a restorative force (F_{tractor}) that stabilizes the propulsion core and feeds recovered energy back into the primary power lattice. This "Tractor Beam" mechanism ensures that energy normally lost to entropy is instead used for system stabilization and ionic shield reinforcement.

Binary Credential Validity Model With Document-Change-Triggered Invalidation And Cryptographic Hash Verification, Kenneth Davis Mar 2026

Binary Credential Validity Model With Document-Change-Triggered Invalidation And Cryptographic Hash Verification, Kenneth Davis

Defensive Publications Series

Field

Computer-implemented systems for maintaining employee competency credential validity. This publication describes a two-state model (valid/invalid) with document-level change detection and cryptographic hash verification. It does not use proposition-level granularity, multi-state lifecycle management, or validity bitmaps.

Background

In regulated industries, organizations must keep competency records showing that employees have been trained on the current version of authoritative reference materials: standard operating procedures, regulatory guidelines, product specifications, and similar documents. When a reference document gets updated, employee credentials linked to it may need invalidation followed by retraining. Commercial systems like Veeva Vault Training Impact Assessment and MasterControl Training Management handle this …
