High concentration of dyes together with turbidity were frequently found in the effluents of textile industry wastewater, which are the toxic substances. To remove these contaminants, the combination between electrocoagulation process (EC) and separation has been proposed in this study. The objective of this present work is to design and evaluate the new electrocoagulation reactor (ECR) for treating dye and turbidity from synthetic textile wastewater. This research focus on study the effect of continuous system on the bubble hydrodynamic and mass transfer parameters (Qg, QL, DBd, UBd a, kL and kLa). The experiment were set up in a cylindrical acrylic column with 0.15 m inside diameter and 1 m in height. ILALR was setup an acrylic plate for liquid recirculation. Moreover, mass transfer determination, liquid phase was removed dissolved oxygen by using sodium sulphite (Na2SO3). The study of beach ridges plains at Laem Pho study area in Amphoe Chaiya, Changwat Surat Thani is aimed to investigate coastal geomorphology and sedimentology to analyze the history of Holocene sea level change. The methodology starts with satellite image interpretation of landform for field survey planning, then, geomorphologic map was done for locating sample collection sites. Grainsize analysis and Optically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) dating were carried out. Objective This study compared the bond strength of glass fiber post to dentin using different irrigation methods and solutions and to evaluate the bond strength in different regions of the root. Methods One hundred human anterior maxillary teeth were randomly divided into 10 groups (n=10). Root canal filling and post space preparation were carried out followed by diverse final irrigation techniques. Purpose: To evaluate the longevity and mechanical, biological and aesthetic performance of ceramic veneers placed after 5 to 7 years in service. Materials and Methods: Ceramic veneer restorations were clinically examined following modified from the United States Public Health Service (USPHS) and World Dental Federation (FDI) criteria. Clinical evaluation was performed by two clinicians regarding mechanical, biological and aesthetic performances during maintenance appointments between September 2016 and August 2017. The purpose of this study is to investigate the expression of inflammatory cytokines in peri-implant crevicular fluid (PICF)from single implant with two different abutment types in comparison to healthy periodontal tissue. Beginning in early 2014, the EU introduced and extended a range of smart sanctions against Russia in protest at Russian involvement in destabilizing Ukraine and violation of Ukraine's territorial integrity. By utilizing theoretical elements of constructivism with process tracing method, this thesis examines the influence of the EU's collective identity on smart sanctions imposed on Russia. The analysis finds that the EU's "collective identity" stipulated the "objective interests" and "subjective interests" to its actors and influenced the "actions" of smart sanctions by extending extra restrictive measures for Russian financial institutions to increase the cost of smart sanctions imposed on Russia. …

This paper uses the multiple regression to research the political connection effect in the state-owned enterprise. It has been found that the political connection can significantly enhance state-owned enterprises' performance. Moreover, the same administration level between state-owned enterprises' actual controller and CEO/Chairman would enhance ROA and ROE. Additionally, as the proportion of political connection members increases, the ROA will be promoted. This study examines gender and cultural differences in financial access of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in six countries within Southeast Asia (SEA): Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Indonesia, and Malaysia. This study uses World Bank Enterprise Surveys dataset which covers 2015 and 2016 to investigate the gender gap in financial access of SMEs in SEA and compare the business performance of enterprises that are owned by males and females. This paper extend a limit order book model of security trading from Goettler, et al. (2005) by adding a dark pool which does not publicly display trading orders. This model is a sequential game with risk-neutral traders. We use a stochastic algorithm followed by Pakes and McGuire (2001) to solve a Markov-perfect equilibrium as the optimal action of a trader. We find that when added a dark pool, market quality worsens (market depth declines and bid-ask spread widen), and total fill rate decreases. The optimum cooking time of each cooking method was prior selected according to the total phenolic compounds, the ferric-reductase antioxidant power (FRAP) activity, the color characteristics, the hardness, and the texture preference of cooked sweet leaf samples. The objectives of this observational descriptive cross-sectional study were to determine the prevalences of depression and metabolic syndrome and to examine the relationship between depression and metabolic syndrome and dietary pattern in working age people in Bangkok. The samples were 446 participants (123 males and 323 females) aged 20 and over who received an annual health examination 2017. The metabolic syndrome was defined by NCEP ATP III criteria. The data on waist circumference, fasting blood glucose, triglycerides, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, blood pressure, depression score, and dietary pattern were collected. This research is aimed at finding a suitable wall material from konjac glucomannan to shield antioxidant compounds in coffee extract along with appropriate condition of spray drying to produce microencapsulated instant coffee. There are two steps of study. In the first step, two types of konjac powder (A. muelleri and A. bulbifer) and different concentrations of mannanase enzyme were used to investigate the viscosity reduction of konjac glucomannan hydrolysate (KGMH). It is found that mannanase at 38,000 units per gram substrate was able to lower the viscosity of A. muelleri solution to less than 100 m.Pa.s, while A. bulbifer remained …

This research was aimed to isolate, select and apply bacteriocin producing halophilic bacteria from salty fermented foods, Plara (Thai traditional salty fermented fish) and soya sauce as bio-control agent in foods. The isolates having inhibitory activity against different strains of Staphylococcus aureus were selected, identified and characterized prior to application as protective starter in food models. Bacterial communities of Plara and soya sauce samples were studied by two methods, a cultural dependent and cultural independent method (Reverse Transcriptase PCR DGGE (Rev-T PCR-DGGE)), and subsequently sequenced by 16s rDNA analysis.
