The L-type amino acid transporter I (LAT1) is an attractive target for drug development in glioma with a poor prognosis. LAT1 facilitates the cross-membrane transport of essential amino acids and plays a crucial role in cancer cell proliferation and growth. In this study, a novel series of tetrahydrocurcumin (THC)-amino acid conjugates were synthesized by conjugating four amino acids: glycine (Gly), leucine (Leu), isoleucine (Ilu), and phenylalanine (Phe) to THC via carbamate bonds to improve the anticancer effects of THC by mediating LAT1. Clopidogrel bisulfate (CLP) is an antiplatelet agent which can exist in six polymorphic forms (Form I, II, III, IV, V, and VI) and polyamorphous form. The aim of this study was to investigate and apply the factors that affect in-situ polymorphic transformation of CLP (Form II) during the wet granulation process to control the production process of CLP tablets to have the desired amorphous form. การศึกษาเชิงทดลองแบบสุ่มนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปรียบเทียบปริมาณการใช้มอร์ฟีนสะสมในเวลา 48 ชั่วโมง ระหว่างการให้ยานีโฟแพมทางหลอดเลือดดำอย่างมีเว้นระยะ (intermittent infusion, II) และอย่างต่อเนื่อง (continuous infusion, CI) เมื่อให้ร่วมกับยาระงับปวดแบบผสมผสานอื่น ในผู้ป่วยผ่าตัดเปลี่ยนข้อเข่าเทียม ผู้ป่วยที่เข้ารับการผ่าตัดเปลี่ยนข้อเข่าเทียมแบบปฐมภูมิจำนวน 58 คน จะถูกสุ่มด้วยโอกาสเท่ากันให้ได้รับยานีโฟแพม 20 มิลลิกรัม หยดเข้าทางหลอดเลือดดำในเวลา 1 ชั่วโมง ให้ซ้ำทุก 6 ชั่วโมง หรือ นีโฟแพม 80 มิลลิกรัม หยดเข้าทางหลอดเลือดดำอย่างต่อเนื่องเป็นเวลา 24 ชั่วโมง ผู้ป่วยจำนวน 3 คน ต้องหยุดการศึกษาเนื่องจากเกิดอาการไม่พึงประสงค์ (1 คนจากกลุ่ม II และ 2 คนจากกลุ่ม CI) ลักษณะประชากรไม่มีความแตกต่างกันระหว่างสองกลุ่มการศึกษา วัดผลเป็นปริมาณการใช้มอร์ฟีนสะสม ในเวลา 48 ชั่วโมงจากเครื่อง intravenous patient-controlled analgesia (IV PCA) และคะแนนความปวดทุก 4 ชั่วโมง ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ปริมาณการใช้มอร์ฟีนสะสมในเวลา 48 ชั่วโมง ไม่มีความแตกต่างกัน [median (range): 4 มิลลิกรัม (0 - 12) ในกลุ่ม II และ 6 มิลลิกรัม (0 - 18) ในกลุ่ม CI; p = 0.579] คะแนนความปวดแตกต่างกันที่เวลา 4 ชั่วโมง กลุ่ม II มีคะแนนความปวดต่ำกว่ากลุ่ม CI [median (range): 0 (0 - 4) ในกลุ่ม II และ 0 (0 …

Magnetic drug targeting can be a strategy to overcome the limitations of delivering phytochemicals for effective cancer treatment. Here, we demonstrate the benefits of magnetic targeting delivery using a combination of chitosan (CS) and alginate (Alg) as materials in encapsulating lutein (lut) and magnetite (Fe3O4) to increase the cytotoxicity of lutein against breast cancer cells with or without magnetic stimulation. The formulation was optimized by a statistical approach using response surface methodology (RSM) based on the Box-Behnken design (BBD). Combination of phytochemicals to chemotherapeutic agents may improve the success of cancer treatment. Natural products including stilbenoids may enhance cytotoxicity of anticancer drugs and reverse multidrug resistance (MDR) by (1) suppression of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters, or (2) alteration of either cell death or survival pathways. The aims of this study were to determine the potentiation effect of the stilbenoid on cytotoxicity of anticancer drugs in MCF7 breast cancer and HT-29 colon cancer cells, and its underlying mechanisms. เพื่อศึกษาความชุกและปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับภาวะกระดูกบางในทารกคลอดก่อนกำหนดน้ำหนักตัวน้อยกว่า 1,500 กรัม โดยศึกษาจากผลไปหาเหตุแบบเก็บข้อมูลย้อนหลัง เก็บข้อมูลจากเวชระเบียนผู้ป่วยใน ณ สถาบันสุขภาพเด็กแห่งชาติมหาราชินี ตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 มกราคม พ.ศ. 2558 ถึง 30 มิถุนายน พ.ศ. 2565 พบภาวะกระดูกบางในทารกคลอดก่อนกำหนดน้ำหนักน้อยกว่า 1500 กรัม จำนวน 130 ราย จาก 654 ราย (ร้อยละ 19.88) กลุ่มตัวอย่างในงานวิจัยนี้จำนวน 275 ราย แบ่งเป็นกลุ่มควบคุม 220 ราย และกลุ่มที่เกิดภาวะกระดูกบาง 55 ราย ซึ่งได้รับการวินิจฉัยภาวะนี้เมื่อทารกมีมัธยฐานอายุ 31 (23, 47) วัน เมื่อวิเคราะห์สถิติการถดถอยพหุโลจิสติก พบปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับการเกิดภาวะกระดูกบาง 7 ปัจจัย ได้แก่ ภาวะทารกตัวเล็ก (OR 8.26; 95%CI 2.66 – 25.64), โรคปอดเรื้อรัง (OR 4.94; 95%CI 2.13 – 11.44), ภาวะเลือดออกในทางเดินอาหารส่วนต้น (OR 4.82; 95%CI 1.74 – 13.34), ภาวะน้ำดีคั่ง (OR 3.49; 95%CI 1.37 – 8.89), การได้รับอินซูลิน (OR 14.36; 95%CI 1.93 – 106.76), ทารกเริ่มได้รับฟอสฟอรัสเมื่ออายุมากกว่า 2 วัน (3 วัน, OR 3.13; 95%CI 1.11 – 8.78; ≥ 4 วัน, OR 7.05; 95%CI 2.21 …

วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่อเปรียบเทียบคุณภาพชีวิตและระดับของความรุนแรงของอาการไม่พึงประสงค์จากการใช้ยาของผู้ป่วยมะเร็งเต้านมในช่วงที่ได้รับยาที่มียากลุ่มแทคเซนเป็นส่วนประกอบ ระหว่างกลุ่มที่ได้รับการบริบาลทางเภสัชกรรมกับกลุ่มที่ได้รับการบริการตามมาตรฐาน วิธีการศึกษา: เป็นการศึกษาเชิงทดลองแบบสุ่มชนิดมีกลุ่มควบคุม จัดสรรกลุ่มตัวอย่างเข้ากลุ่มที่ได้รับการบริบาลทางเภสัชกรรม (กลุ่มศึกษา) และกลุ่มได้รับการบริการตามมาตรฐาน (กลุ่มควบคุม) ด้วยอัตราส่วน 1:1 วัดคุณภาพชีวิตโดยแบบประเมินคุณภาพชีวิต FACT-B version 4 ฉบับภาษาไทย และใช้เกณฑ์ CTCAE version 5 ประเมินความรุนแรงของอาการไม่พึงประสงค์จากการใช้ยา ศึกษา ณ โรงพยาบาลนพรัตนราชธานี ผลการศึกษา: มีผู้เข้าร่วมการศึกษา 49 ราย เป็นกลุ่มที่ได้รับการบริบาลทางเภสัชกรรม 25 ราย และกลุ่มที่ได้รับการบริการตามมาตรฐาน 24 ราย หลังได้รับยาเคมีบำบัด พบว่า กลุ่มที่ได้รับการบริบาลทางเภสัชกรรมมีคุณภาพชีวิตโดยรวมเพิ่มขึ้นจากพื้นฐานคุณภาพชีวิตเดิมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ (99.71 ± 11.99 เทียบกับ 108.66 ± 12.73; p < 0.001) และค่า Trial outcome index (TOI) ได้เพิ่มขึ้นอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ (61.96 ± 8.18 เทียบกับ 68.40 ± 9.21; p < 0.001) นอกจากนี้ยังพบว่า ผู้ป่วยที่ได้รับการบริบาลทางเภสัชกรรมพบการเกิดอาการชาตามปลายประสาท ความรุนแรงระดับ 3 ขึ้นไปน้อยกว่ากลุ่มที่ได้รับการบริการตามมาตรฐาน (ร้อยละ 0 เปรียเทียบกับ ร้อยละ 16.7; p = 0.017) สรุป: การบริบาลทางเภสัชกรรม ที่นำแบบประเมินคุณภาพชีวิตด้านสุขภาพมาเป็นเครื่องในการติดตามอาการไม่พึงประสงค์จากการใช้ยา สามารถเพิ่มคุณภาพชีวิต และลดความรุนแรงของอาการไม่พึงประสงค์ในผู้ป่วยมะเร็งเต้านมระยะแรกในช่วงได้รับยาเคมีบำบัดที่มีกลุ่มแทคแซนเป็นส่วนประกอบ

การศึกษานี้มีรูปแบบการศึกษาจากเหตุไปหาผลแบบไปข้างหน้าร่วมกับย้อนหลัง วัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาลักษณะทางคลินิกและปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการเกิดเหตุการณ์ไม่พึงประสงค์จากการใช้ยาในผู้ป่วย วัณโรคปอด ณ คลินิกควบคุมการติดเชื้อทางเดินหายใจ โรงพยาบาลจุฬาลงกรณ์ ระหว่างเดือนมิถุนายน พ.ศ. 2562 ถึงมิถุนายน พ.ศ. 2565 โดยเก็บข้อมูลจากเวชระเบียนอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ผู้ป่วยนอก วิเคราะห์ปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์ต่อการเกิดเหตุการณ์ไม่พึงประสงค์ด้วยสถิติการถดถอย (Cox regression) ในการศึกษามีผู้ป่วยทั้งหมด 371 ราย อายุเฉลี่ย 52.6 ± 19.9 ปี พบเพศชายร้อยละ 63.6 และพบผู้ป่วย วัณโรคที่ไวต่อยาร้อยละ 81.9 ผลการศึกษาจากการวิเคราะห์พหุตัวแปร (multivariate analysis) พบปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์ต่อการเกิดเหตุการณ์ไม่พึงประสงค์ ได้แก่ เพศหญิง (HR=1.64, 95%CI 1.22–2.20) วัณโรคดื้อยา (HR=1.48, 95%CI 1.01–2.15) โรคไตเรื้อรัง (HR=1.62, 95%CI 1.03–2.54) และการมีประวัติโรคตับ (HR=1.94, 95%CI 1.37-2.76) พบอุบัติการณ์การเกิดเหตุการณ์ไม่พึงประสงค์ 12.0 (95% CI: 10.4 – 13.8) รายต่อ 100 ประชากรต่อเดือน พบอัตราการเกิดเหตุการณ์ไม่พึงประสงค์ร้อยละ 55.5 เหตุการณ์ไม่พึงประสงค์ที่พบมาก 3 อันดับแรก ได้แก่ ผื่นคัน อาการคลื่นไส้-อาเจียน และภาวะ ตับอักเสบ เหตุการณ์ไม่พึงประสงค์ส่วนใหญ่มีความรุนแรงเล็กน้อยถึงปานกลาง พบร้อยละ 76.5 และผลลัพธ์ภายหลังการเกิดเหตุการณ์ไม่พึงประสงค์ส่วนใหญ่หายเป็นปกติ พบร้อยละ 70.8 อย่างไรก็ตาม ไม่พบความสัมพันธ์กันระหว่างการเกิดเหตุการณ์ไม่พึงประสงค์กับอัตราการรักษาไม่สำเร็จ อุบัติการณ์การเกิดเหตุการณ์ไม่พึงประสงค์จากการใช้ยาต้านวัณโรคในผู้ป่วยวัณโรคปอดสูง จึงมีความสำคัญในการติดตามและเฝ้าระวังการเกิดเหตุการณ์ไม่พึงประสงค์ในผู้ป่วยที่ได้รับยาต้านวัณโรคอย่างใกล้ชิด โดยเฉพาะผู้ป่วยที่มีความเสี่ยงต่อการเกิดเหตุการณ์ไม่พึงประสงค์ คือ เพศหญิง วัณโรค ดื้อยา ผู้ป่วยโรคตับและโรคไตเรื้อรัง

Di (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) is a toxic phthalate ester (PAE) plasticizer that is predominantly detected in marine sediment and biota. DEHP degradation by bacteria from several environments has been studied, but very little is known about marine sediment bacteria that can degrade DEHP and other PAEs. Therefore, in this study, we enriched a bacterial consortium C10 that can degrade four PAEs of varying alkyl chain lengths (DEHP, dibutyl phthalate, diethyl phthalate, and dimethyl phthalate ; separately and as a mixture) from marine sediment. G6PD plays fundamental roles in many cellular processes, including redox balance and lipid and nucleotide synthesis. Overexpression of G6PD is required to promote the proliferation and survival of cancer cells, including lung cancer. Targeting G6PD is a prominent strategy to inhibit cancer cell progression. Finding novel natural compounds with anticancer properties to inhibit G6PD activity needs to be investigated. Our study indicated that SJ006, which is 1,2-naphthoquinone, promoted cytotoxic activity against NSCLC cell lines. Interestingly, SJ006 exhibited a direct inhibitory effect on G6PD activity without interfering with mRNA or protein levels, which were strongly observed in both A549 and H292. …

This paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the relationship between the US Flash Manufacturing PMI news releases, returns, and volatilities of Russell 1000 and 2000 indexes. Using an autoregressive (AR) and generalized autoregressive conditional heteroskedasticity (GARCH) model, the study examines data from January 2015 to November 2022, encompassing both pre-pandemic, pandemic, and post-pandemic periods. The statistical analysis indicates that these news releases do not significantly influence stock returns, supporting the efficient market hypothesis. Various factors, including measurement errors and the unique circumstances of the Covid-19 pandemic, likely overshadowed the impact of PMI news releases. The independent_study aimed to examine the relationship between Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) scores and Intangible Capital Ratio (ICR) and their implications for buy-and-hold returns (BHR) and stock performance among Thai listed companies. The paper aims to examine whether risk-shifting behavior exists in Thai equity mutual funds or not. The empirical analysis studies the period from 2005 to 2022. It is investigated that risk-shifting behavior exists in Thailand by having compensation and employment incentive influences fund managers’ decision on risk shifting. This research study examines the importance of capital ratios in assessing the financial health of insurance companies in the context of Singapore and Thailand. The primary objective is to investigate the extent to which capital ratios provide informative insights into the risk, efficiency, and profitability of insurance companies. The study covers both life and non-life insurance companies during the period from 2017 to 2021. การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการวางตำแหน่งของตราสินค้า คุณค่าของตราสินค้า และภาพลักษณ์ของตราสินค้า และการประชาสัมพันธ์ที่มีความสัมพันธ์ต่อ แนวโน้มในการเลือกเชียร์สโมสรไฮเทค บาสเกตบอล โดยใช้แบบสอบถามออนไลน์เป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่เป็นแฟนบาสเกตบอลสโมสรไฮเทค จำนวน 400 คน โดยทำการกระจายแบบสอบถามออนไลน์ (Google Form) ผ่านทาง Inbox Page Facebook ของสโมสรไฮเทค ให้กับผู้กดติดตาม และนำข้อมูลที่ได้มาวิเคราะห์หาค่าร้อยละ ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์แบบเพียร์สัน จากการศึกษาระดับความคิดเห็นของกลุ่มตัวอย่างพบว่า การวางตำแหน่งของตราสโมสรไฮเทค ภาพลักษณ์ของตราสโมสรไฮเทค คุณค่าของตราสินค้าสโมสรไฮเทค และแนวโน้มในการเลือกเชียร์สโมสรไฮเทค ในภาพรวมมีความคิดเห็นอยู่ในระดับมาก ส่วนความคิดเห็นต่อการประชาสัมพันธ์ทางกีฬาในภาพรวมมีความคิดเห็นอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ส่วนผลการทดสอบสมมติฐานพบว่า การวางตำแหน่งของตัวสโมสร (r = 0.533) ภาพลักษณ์ของตราสโมสรไฮเทค (r = 0.676) คุณค่าของตราสโมสรไฮเทค (r = 0.705) และการประชาสัมพันธ์ทางกีฬา (r = 0.710) มีความสัมพันธ์ต่อแนวโน้มในการเลือกเชียร์สโมสรไฮเทคของแฟนทีม อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05

The aim of this in vitro study was to evaluate the remineralization effect of the silver nanoparticles adjunctively to sodium fluoride varnish compared with other remineralizing agents on artificial root caries. Fifty-five root dentin slices size 5x5 mm were sectioned from extracted human teeth of patients aged 60 years old or more.
