Certain Subordination-Preserving Family Of Integral Operators Associated With P-Valent Functions, H. M. Srivastava, M. K. Aouf, A. O. Mostafa, H. M. Zayed

Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences

In this paper, we obtain a number of subordination, superordination and sandwich-type results related to a certain family of integral operators defined on the space of p-valent functions in the open unit disk. Applications of these subordination and superordination theorems to the familiar Gauss hypergeometric function are also considered. The results derived in this paper are shown to generalize several known subordination, superordination and sandwich-type theorems.

Approaching An Overdamped System As A Quadratic Eigenvalue Problem, Maria Antonia Forjaz, Antonio Mario Almeida, Luıs M. Fernandes, Jorge Pamplona, T. De Lacerda–Aroso

Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences

In viscous material systems, time and stress dependent instabilities often occur. The evolution of visco-elastic systems under external stress has already been modeled by applying a matricial dynamics equation comprehending elasticity and viscosity matrices. In this study we report a novel formulation for such kind of systems in an overdamped regime as a nonlinear quadratic eigenvalue problem. The results presented were obtained after solving the eigenvalue equation of several sets of discrete damped mass-spring systems.

An Adjustable Reduction Approach Of Interval-Valued Intuitionistic Fuzzy Soft Sets For Decision Making, Hongwu Qin, Ahmad Shukrimohd Noor, Xiuqin Ma, Haruna Chiroma, Tutut Herawan

Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences

Parameter reduction methods have been adopted by many scientific communities since it provides the basic concept for removing irrelevant features and subset of parameters that provides the same descriptive or decisionability as the entire set of parameters. Several reduction approaches have been proposed for fuzzy-soft set in making decision of datasets with fuzzy-soft values. However, existing fuzzy soft set reduction approaches suffer to handle interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy soft datasets. To overcome this issue, we introduce an adjustable reduction approach of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy soft sets (AR-IIFSS) for decision making. The novelty of APR-IIFSS is that we generalize the existing approaches on …

Establishing Wmelpop Wolbachia Infection Among Wild Aedes Aegypti Females By Optimal Control Approach, Doris E. Campo-Duarte, Daiver Cardona-Salgado, Olga Vasilieva

Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences

Wolbachia is a maternally transmitted bacterial symbiont which is known to reduce the vector competence of mosquitoes and other arthropod species. Therefore, Wolbachia-based biocontrol is regarded as a practicable method for prevention and control of dengue and other arboviral infections. In particular, a deliberate infection of Aedes aegypti females with wMelPop Wolbachia strain makes them almost incapable of transmitting dengue and other arboviruses. In this paper, we present and thoroughly analyze a population dynamics model of interaction between wild Aedes aegypti female mosquitoes and those infected with wMelPop Wolbachia strain, which compete for the same vital resources (food, breeding sites, …

Some Inequalities Of Jensen Type And Lazhar Type For The Class Of Harmonically And Strongly Reciprocally Convex Functions, L. Azocar, M. Bracamonte, J. Medina

Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences

In recent years, new classes of convex functions have been introduced in order to generalize the results and to obtain new estimations, in [12], Iscan gave the definition of harmonically convex functions and in [2] Bracamonte et al. extended the concept of harmonically convex functions due to Iscan, and obtained the concept of strongly reciprocally convex functions. We give some inequalities of Jensen type and Lazhar type for the class of harmonically and strongly reciprocally convex functions.

Generalisation Of Implication-Based Fuzzy Semiautomaton Over A Finite Group, M. Selva Rathi, J. Michael Anna Spinneli

Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences

We have defined the concept of implication-based T-fuzzy semiautomaton (IB-T-FSA) over a finite group. The ideas of an implication-based T-fuzzy kernel and implication-based T-fuzzy subsemiautomaton of an IB-T-FSA over a finite group are introduced using the notion of implication-based T-fuzzy subgroup and implication-based T-fuzzy normal subgroup. The necessary and sufficient condition for an implication-based T-fuzzy normal subgroup to be an implication-based T-fuzzy kernel as well as the necessary and sufficient condition for an implication-based T-fuzzy subgroup to be an implication-based T-fuzzy subsemiautomaton of an IB-T-FSA are proved in this paper

WMN consists of mesh nodes and mesh routers which provide security to sufficiently analyze the location but its performance is degraded when it comes to its overhead. WMN provides different security solutions at different levels of its layers. Each and every layer encounters attacks by the malicious behavior program which is due to the presence of its layers. So, in this paper, we propose a new framework solution against wormhole attacks based on adaptive learning technique, which provides mesh node …

Improved Pattern Matching Algorithm, Deep Suman Dev, Dakshina Ranjan Kisku Jul 2017

Improved Pattern Matching Algorithm, Deep Suman Dev, Dakshina Ranjan Kisku

Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences

Pattern matching problem aims to search the most similar pattern or object by matching to an instance of that pattern in a scene image. In order to address the issue of finding an object in the target image efficiently, the most distinctive features are computed from the query pattern and need to be searched in the scene image. The scene image is logically divided into a number of candidate windows which are then to be matched with the query pattern. Due to repeated matching of the query pattern with local candidate windows, the pattern matching process requires a large amount …

Dynamics Of Diseased Prey Predator Model With Nonlinear Feedback Control, V. Madhusudanan, B. R.Tapas Bapu

Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences

In this paper we investigate the dynamics of diseased prey- predator system with nonlinear feedback. A nonlinear feedback mathematical model is proposed and analyzed to study the predator interaction with infected prey. We showed that the continuous time diseased prey-predator system can be asymptotically stabilized using nonlinear feedback control. By constructing Lyapunov function, global asymptotic stability is established. Also we obtained necessary control law for asymptotic stability of this system. Finally, a numerical simulation supports our analytical findings

Mining Maximal Cliques Through An Intuitionistic Fuzzy Graph, S. Venkatesh, S. Sujatha

Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences

This paper deals with an inspiring and real-world problem of mining maximal cliques in an intuitionistic fuzzy graph G where the edges are weighted by the degrees of membership together with non-membership values. By using fuzzy cuts ( α , β ) such that 0 ≤ αβ ≤ 1, a modified concept of C αβ maximal clique is proposed in an intuitionistic fuzzy graph. To find C αβ maximal cliques in an intuitionistic fuzzy graph, we present an effective mining algorithm based on this C αβ is introduced.

Delay Optimized Novel Architecture Of Fir Filter Using Clustered-Retimed Mac Unit Cell For Dsp Applications, S. Subathradevi, C. Vennila

Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences

In VLSI based system design; optimum design is preferred in terms of area, delay and power. In the era of miniaturization the speed is the most important parameter in VLSI design. To achieve greater speed the designer must concentrate on reduction in delay. Generally the total delay consists of logic delay and path delay. For achieving delay optimization either path delay or logic delay can be modified. By re-arranging the architecture such that to modify interconnects, the delay can be reduced in the design of the system and speed can be comparatively increased. In this work, the authors propose a …

Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences

Behaviors of many dynamic systems with uncertainty can be modelled effectively by systems of fuzzy differential equations. In this paper, we develop new numerical iterative method for solving systems of fuzzy initial value problems based on the reproducing kernel theory under the assumption of Hukuhara differentiability. The exact and approximate solutions are given with series form in terms of their parametric form, where two smooth reproducing kernel functions are used throughout the evolution of the algorithm to obtain the required nodal values. Furthermore, error estimation is proved in order to capture the behavior of fuzzy solutions. Applicability, potentiality, and efficiency …
