Label for the duplicate box housed in the Kentucky Museum created by Mattie McLean. It reads: At the suggestion of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Lowe this bronze box was prepared as a duplicate of the one that was placed in the base of the Dr. H.H. Cherry Statue. This contains copies of practically everything that was placed in the original bronze box. Mattie M. McLean.

The duplicate box is actually copper.

Student/Alumni Personal Papers

Edith Rupard was born and raised in Madison County, Kentucky. She played high school basketball and entered the University of Kentucky in 1927. In 1931 she married WKU alum Edgar Stansbury. The couple eventually came back to WKU when Edgar became Athletic Director. This brief diary was written by Edith and chronicles the events of 1926-1937. It was removed from Edgar Stansbury Scrapbook 5.
