The goal of this initiative is to increase provider confidence, improve patient outcomes, and foster constructive societal change by teaching healthcare professionals how to prescribe benzodiazepines safely and effectively. Many doctors prescribe benzodiazepines to treat anxiety, sleeplessness, and seizures, but using them comes with serious hazards, such as dependence, withdrawal, and overdosing, particularly when taken with other drugs like opioids. Taking these concerns into consideration, my study intends to close gaps in prescribing practices by creating an evidence-based education program specifically designed for healthcare professionals. The course emphasizes effective prescribing techniques, methods for weaning chronic users, and benzodiazepine substitutes such …

Optimising Public-Private Partnership Adoption For Housing Delivery In Oyo State, Nigeria: A Narrative Review, Mojisola H. Akinola, Funmilayo M. Adedire, Oluwafemi K. Akande
Journal of Sustainable Social Impact
The increasing global demand for housing and budgetary constraints have led governments in several developed and developing countries to seek new ways of providing housing. Among the several options adopted by many governments is to establish partnerships with the private sector, usually referred to as public–private partnerships (PPPs). In Nigeria, substantial gaps in the housing market still exist because housing delivery systems have not effectively satisfied the housing demands of the country’s low-income population. Despite the Nigerian government’s efforts to ease the housing shortage, the adoption of PPP has not been holistically embraced for the delivery of public housing projects, …

Early Recognition And Management Of Aggressive Behaviors In Delirium, Melissa Dawn Martin
Walden Dissertations and Doctoral Studies
Patients experiencing delirium are challenging for nurses, especially when aggressive behavior is also present. Nurses from all specialties have the potential to encounter patients who have or develop delirium during their hospitalization, particularly in the intensive care unit. Nurses may lack the experience needed to recognize impending aggression which often presents as subtle cognitive changes or do not know the proper way to manage these types of patients. This makes standardized guidelines crucial for the safety of both the nurse and the patient. This project addresses that practice gap through developing an evidence-based clinical practice guideline (CPG) that will help …
