Prosopis variegata F. var. integra n. v. 9 o. Bei dieser Varietät sind die Wangenflecken (= Flecken des Nebengesichtes bei Förster) des Weibchens wie bei der Stammform dreieckig gestaltet und laufen nach oben spitz zu. Ausserdem ist der Clypeus stets mit einem hellgelben Längsstreifen und das Stirnschildchen mit einem gelben Querflecken geschmuckt. Oft ist auch der Vorderrand des Clypens rot gefärbt. Die Männchen zeigen ausser den mehr oder weniger rot gefärbten Hinterleibsringe. 1 und 2 stärker durchscheinende Eudränder aller Hinterleibsringe. Die Spitzenhälfte der Hinterschienen und die 4 letzten Tarsenglieder sind wie bei der Stammform schwarz gefärbt. Die gelbe Gesichtszeichnung zieht …

Ögonen oftast nakna, mycket sällan håriga (Entomognathus), på insidan vanligen hela, sällan med en inskärning (Phila11thus, Trypoxylon); de äro oftast så stora, att de nå ned till mandiblernas rot, hvarigenom kinder komma att saknas; de stå antingen parallella eller närma sig hvarandra uppåt eller nedåt. Punktögonen tre ställda i trekant, vanligen halfklotformiga, de öfre sällan otydliga och långsträckta (T achytes). Öfverläppen är oftast liten och mer eller mindre dold under munskölden, sällan (Bembex) mycket stor och inslagen under mandiblern a. Mandiblerna äro vanligen skärformiga, enkla eller tandade. Oberkiefer vierzahuig; mit ziemlich scharfem Langskiele; am Grunde dicht und fein punktiert, dazwischen fein gerieft; nach inuen und nach der Spitze zu mit vereinzelten groberen Punkten, Kielen und Furchen versehen, die Rander mit vereinzelten ungleich Iangen Haaren besetzt. Wangenanhang mit schwacher Beule. Clypeus zerstreut und ziemlich groh, seitlich dichter punktiert, in der Mitte mit erhabenem, glanzendem Langskiele, der Vorderrand auf seiuer ganzen Lange schwach ausgerandet und ein wenig crenuliert. Stirn, Scheitel und Wangen dichter und gleichmassiger punktiert.

Black; abdominal segments 1-4 at apex with bands of a golden-yellowish be pubescence; the head in front, the cheeks, the occiput, the thorax in front at the sides, the postscutellum, the legs, and the abdomen beneath, alI clothed with a pale or whitish pubescence. Wings hyaline, fuliginous at apex, the costae and parastigma black, the stigmal and internal veins testaceous. Legs mostly black, with tarsal joints 2-5 mostly yellowish. The head is rather finely, sparsely punctate, the thorax more closely and densely punctate, but with the punctures finer on the scutellum, while the metathorax is shagreened, opaque. …
