Children who have been infected with Respiratory Syncytial Virus have a higher incidence of wheeze-associated clinic visits and hospitalizations compared to children without previous RSV exposure. The purpose of this study is to determine if palivizumab, an immunoglobulin injection used to prevent RSV infections, can decrease the incidence of recurrent wheezing in children. The review of literature will follow male and female children from infancy to age 13 who were treated with palivizumab and compare these children to patients with similar demographics that were not treated with palivizumab to determine if there is any difference in incidence of wheezing. Low back pain with or without radiculopathy symptoms is increasingly becoming a common complaint for patients. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the most effective treatment for patients experiencing low back pain with or without radiculopathy symptoms with the goal of pain reduction/elimination and positive long term results. The review of literature explores studies that discuss treatment options of surgical intervention or conventional treatment such as physical therapy. • Commonly used medications for GERD may affect the colonic mucosa

• H2 antagonists (H2RAs) ranitidine, cimetidine famotidine reduce acid secretion by 60 to 70%.

• Proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) omeprazole, pantoprazole, lansoprazole, esomeprazole and rabeprazole reduce acid secretion by inhibiting the H+ (proton) secreting pump, reducing hydrochloric acid by 80 to 95%.

• Diarrhea is one of the most commonly reported adverse events.

• H2RAs and PPIs have the physiological and functional potential to interfere with gastrointestinal physiology by altering intestinal pH.

The increasing amount of special waste generated from drilling activity in western North Dakota has created the need for a local special waste landfill for the region. A quarter section of land has been selected for landfill use 20 miles west of Williston on ND 2, (sec.26, T. 154 N, R. 104 W.), Williams County. WISCO Oil Co. recognized this site as an appropriate destination to deposit the special waste. • Clostridium difficile infection (CDI) is the main cause of antibiotic-associated pseudomembranous colitis.

• CDI has tripled over the last ten years due to the increased use of broad spectrum antibiotics. CDI has become increasingly difficult to manage with traditional therapies such as metronidazole and vancomycin due to mutations in the pathogen, resulting in resistant organisms.

Researchers have shown vocabulary knowledge to be highly linked to reading comprehension, and ultimately a strong predictor of academic success. Therefore, students' vocabulary skills should be carefully monitored and assessed as the demands of education increase.

The purpose of this study was to compare 28 fourth grade students' vocabulary scores on the Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) test with scores on the Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test-4 (PPVT-4) (Dunn & Dunn, 2007) and Expressive Vocabulary Test-2 (EVT-2) (Williams, 2007), two clinically used vocabulary measures with established validity. Grassland birds are diminishing more steadily and rapidly than other North American birds in general. The nesting success of some grassland bird species depends on the amount of nonproductive vegetation (NPV). To estimate NPV land managers are currently using the Robel pole visual obstruction reading methods. Researchers with the USDA Agricultural Research Service's (ARS) Northern Great Plains Research Laboratory in Mandan, ND, recently established statistical relationships between photosynthetic vegetation (PV), NPV and spectral vegetation indices (SVIs) derived from more sensitive and more detailed, but less accessible and more costly hyperspectral aerial imagery.
