The invocation of tragedy in abortion stories has been acknowledged as a rhetorical tool that creates affective prescriptions and marginalization. Expanding on this concept, this work identifies how these strategies are used to maintain white femininity structurally through individual narratives. An intersectional feminist rhetorical analysis of abortion stories told on the platform TikTok is used to identify discursive practices that signal to white femininity. These practices are organized into three prominent themes within narratives: moves toward victimization, moves toward innocence, and prescribed punishments. Purpose: This study examined the effectiveness of laser utilization in stabilizing periodontal disease over a one-year period. This research focused on the results following scaling and root planing with adjunctive laser-assisted periodontal therapy and laser bacterial reduction at subsequent periodontal maintenance visits. While short-term advantages are documented in the literature, research on sustained effectiveness is limited. Methods: A retrospective chart review of 30 adult patients who received the above treatment was conducted. Periodontal charting was recorded at three visits over one year. Grounded in the multiple identities approach, it explores how participants navigate hierarchies, build relationships, and engage through their multiple identities. Using Systemic Functional Linguistics, it analyzes linguistic strategies to reveal how language empowers or marginalizes. These concepts have been further extended through hyperstructures (based on powersets) and superhyperstructures (based on n-th powersets, which are sets with repeated power set structures) [5,12–14,32]. These extensions are commonly referred to as HyperUncertain, SuperUncertain, and SuperHyperUncertain Sets/Logics/Probabilities/Statistics, and they were introduced by Smarandache in 2016-2017 [32] as parts of HyperStructures, SuperStructures, and SuperHyperStructures respectively. The government cannot punish someone twice for the same offense. But determining whether two crimes are the same offense for double jeopardy purposes can be difficult. New Mexico courts approach this problem in a unique way. In 1991, the New Mexico Supreme Court created a multi-step test for double description cases that largely reflected federal law under Blockburger v. United States. Over time, the supreme court modified and expanded the inquiry. The 1922 Compact only apportions the beneficial consumptive use of the river system’s waters between two geographic sub-basins, an Upper Basin and a Lower Basin. The 1922 Compact negotiators left the task of allocating water to individual states to future negotiations among the sub-basins. The five states with Upper Basin lands completed this task in 1948. Administered by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), it allows energy producers whose facilities qualify under its criteria to buy and sell electricity to larger-scale energy producers at rates set by state agencies. This article examines the limitations of existing federal authorities in addressing the growing threat of PFAS contamination in livestock production operations. While existing programs at the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), such as the Livestock Indemnity Program, provide critical support for producers facing natural disasters, they do not cover losses related to toxic substances like PFAS. The only USDA program offering PFAS-related indemnity is the Dairy Indemnity Payment Program (DIPP), but its narrow scope limits coverage to dairy farms. The acequias of the upper Río Grande are more than just irrigation canals. They also allocate and manage water for the community of landowners in the system. After four centuries of use, the acequias persist into modern times with their founding principles intact: self-government, local autonomy, internal rules for operating procedures, and a strong sense of mutualismo or communal responsibility.
