Background: Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD) is an important non-atherosclerotic cause of acute coronary syndrome (ACS), predominantly affecting younger females. Despite increasing recognition, data on gender-based differences in SCAD presentation and outcomes remain limited, particularly in South Asian populations.

Methods: This retrospective case series included 24 patients diagnosed with SCAD at Abbas Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) between January 2022 and March 2025. Patient demographics, clinical presentation, angiographic findings, management strategies, and outcomes were analyzed with a focus on gender-based differences.

Introduction: Gallbladder cancer (GBC) is a rare but highly lethal malignancy with significant variability in mortality based on demographic and clinical factors. This study aims to analyze the impact of gender, age, tumor stage, and treatment modalities on mortality in GBC patients, providing a comprehensive overview of the factors influencing survival outcomes.

Methods: We conducted a retrospective analysis of 1,527 patients diagnosed with GBC between 2005 and 2021. The system passively captures interaction traces from multiple actors - including autonomous agents, semi-automated processes, and human users - as they interact with databases, APIs, and infrastructure endpoints through heterogeneous surfaces. Digital labour platforms worldwide have deepened the shift towards temporary, piecemeal, casual, and non-standard work arrangements. With significant implications for wages, employment relationships, and social security, the rise of platform work has (re)shaped the experiences of work in urban India in profound ways. Our ethnographic engagements in Delhi and Hyderabad are the basis to highlight three labour issues: of wages, safety, and discrimination, which shape the everyday experience of platform workers and which have consequently been raised by unions and through workers’ collective action. This paper examines the role of public administration in shaping and restricting comedic expression in the United States, specifically focusing on the FCC’s regulation of broadcast media, targeting stand-up comedians and late-night show hosts. By applying Weber's and Wilson's theories of bureaucracy the paper analyzes how administrative power influences the boundaries of acceptable speech, through legal frameworks and discourse theory. An important court case involving governmental regulation of comedic speech was the FCC v. Pacifica Foundation. Age-Dependent Variations In Clinical Presentation, Laboratory Parameters, And Coronary Outcomes In Kawasaki Disease: A 10-Year Retrospective Cohort Study Of 480 Pediatric Patients In Eastern China, Zhuying Zhou, Chen Wang, Aole Li, Saeed Saboor, Xiaoli Li, Xiaowei Li, Xianmei Huang, Chunming Jiang

Objective: This study investigated the age-dependent clinical characteristics of Kawasaki disease (KD) in pediatric patients and assessed the influence of age on disease presentation and outcomes. Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted of 480 children diagnosed with KD who were admitted to Hangzhou First People's Hospital between 2013 and 2022. Subjects were stratified into two cohorts based on age: <2 years and 2-14 years). Demographic data, clinical manifestations, laboratory parameters, comorbidities, and coronary artery abnormalities were comprehensively evaluated across the age groups. Results: Time from symptom onset to diagnosis was significantly prolonged in the older cohort (z=-2.70, P=0.007). The incidence of cervical lymphadenopathy was markedly higher in older children (χ²=15.12, P<0.001), while peripheral extremity changes were significantly less frequent (χ²=5.79, P=0.016). The younger cohort exhibited significantly elevated platelet counts, alanine aminotransferase, and NT-proBNP levels compared to older patients (z=-3.57, P<0.001; z=-2.39, P=0.02; z=-3.59, P<0.001, respectively). Coronary artery dilatation and aneurysm formation occurred more frequently in younger patients (z=7.70, P=0.006; z=14.63, P<0.001). However, coronary artery recovery rates following intravenous immunoglobulin therapy showed no significant inter-group differences (P>0.05). Conclusions: The clinical presentation of KD demonstrates significant age-dependent variation. Clinicians should maintain a high index of suspicion for KD in older children presenting with fever and cervical lymphadenopathy. Rheumatoid arthritis is an inflammatory autoimmune disease affecting the joints which eventually leads to systemic comorbidities. Its pathogenesis was attributed to disturbances in the Janus Kinase/Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription signaling pathway. In this research, an innovative lead compound C6 was created and docked toward Janus Kinase1 (JAK1). The docking process was confirmed by re-docking of the co-crystallized ligand MI1 (Tofacitinib). C6 showed a predicted docking score of -9.17 kcal/mol, with enhancement of 1.26 kcal/mol over Tofacitinib. This study investigated a two-stage surface modification strategy for ZK60 magnesium alloy based on 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES) pretreatment followed by electrospun polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) nanofibers containing ZnO and hydroxyapatite (HA) nanoparticles. Three PVP/ZnO/HA formulations were prepared to examine the effect of nanoparticle loading, and corresponding coatings with and without APTES pretreatment were compared. The coatings were characterized using Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy coupled with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM/EDX), and a cross-hatch adhesion test. Actinomycetes are gram-positive, non-spore-forming, filamentous anaerobic bacteria that constitute part of the normal oral and intestinal flora and are widely distributed in the environment. Actinomycosis is a chronic, suppurative granulomatous infection frequently associated with deep-seated and recurrent infections. This five-year retrospective study (June 2018–June 2024) aimed to determine the prevalence and antimicrobial susceptibility pattern of Actinomyces species isolated from various clinical specimens. Samples received for Anaerobic culture and sensitivity were processed as per standard protocol and antibiogram was obtained for the respective pathogen isolated. Abiotic stress conditions impair plant metabolism partly by inducing the excessive production of reactive oxygen species (ROS). Melatonin, a multifunctional indoleamine, has emerged as an important regulator of plant responses to oxidative stress. This review highlights recent findings on the interactions among phytomelatonin, ROS homeostasis, antioxidant metabolism, photosynthetic protection, stress priming, and abiotic stress tolerance. We discuss how melatonin modulates the antioxidative response under diverse stress conditions and evaluate its effects on photosynthetic performance, ROS signaling, and membrane stability. Inclusive music-making requires instruments that support varied bodies, abilities, musical backgrounds, and forms of participation. Digital musical instruments provide diverse approaches to sound creation, and fabric-based interfaces offer an alternative interaction modality that may support participation for some users and contexts. Despite ABI’s prevalence, little is known about the extent to which social workers are prepared for brain injury working and specifically pre-qualifying brain injury curricula. Adventitious root formation in stem cuttings of Phoebe bournei, an economically and ecologically significant woody species, is a major bottleneck in clonal propagation. To elucidate the impact of spectral quality on early adventitious root development, we characterized the morphological, hormonal, and transcriptomic dynamics of primordium initiation and differentiation under white, red, and blue light. Under red light, cuttings exhibited the earliest and most pronounced formation of white filamentous structures at lenticels, indicative of root primordium initiation, as early as 20 days after cutting, whereas white and blue light treatments showed delayed responses.
