Sununu Strongest Gop Challenger For Senate In 2022 2/25/2021, Unh Survey Center
All UNH Survey Center Polls
New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu is currently the strongest Republican challenger to incumbent Maggie Hassan for U.S. Senate in 2022. Sununu and Hassan are tied in a hypothetical matchup and former Senator Kelly Ayotte is also statistically tied with Hassan. Retired General Don Bolduc and political commentator Corey Lewandowski trail Hassan by double-digit margins. Sununu continues to enjoy high favorability ratings in the state, while Granite Staters are divided in their view of Hassan. Residents are also divided on Ayotte, Bolduc is largely unknown, and Lewandowski is largely unpopular in the state.

All UNH Survey Center Polls
Governor Chris Sununu remains extremely popular in New Hampshire with a job approval rating of 72%. His handling of the COVID-19 crisis in New Hampshire also remains high. While Nevada tries to replace New Hampshire as the first presidential primary, a majority of Granite Staters say New Hampshire's First in the Nation Presidential Primary is important. However, fewer Granite Staters than in 2008 consider it to be important. Residents are ambivalent about a proposal to move New Hampshire's state primary from September to earlier in the year. A plurality support establishing a redistricting commission to redraw legislative boundaries in the …

DURHAM, NH - President Joe Biden's job approval rating in New Hampshire has dipped since January as Republican disapproval rises. A slim majority oppose the acquittal of former President Donald Trump and larger majorities do not want Republicans to keep following Trump's leadership and do not want Trump to run for President again in 2024. Granite Staters are divided on raising the minimum wage and canceling student debt, with large majorities of Democrats in favor and Republicans strongly opposed.

Many research and monitoring networks in recent decades have provided publicly available data documenting environmental and ecological change, but little is known about the status of efforts to synthesize this information across networks. We convened a working group to assess ongoing and potential cross-network synthesis research and outline opportunities and challenges for the future, focusing on the US-based research network (the US Long-Term Ecological Research network, LTER) and monitoring network (the National Ecological Observatory Network, NEON). LTER-NEON cross-network research synergies arise from the potentials for LTER measurements, experiments, models, and observational studies to provide context and mechanisms for interpreting NEON …

At the University of New Hampshire at Manchester (UNH Manchester), the librarians, the Center for Academic Enrichment (CAE) professional staff, and the First-Year Writing Program faculty established a rich collaboration for supporting undergraduate students throughout the research process. This effort was realized by adapting a highly effective peer-tutoring program, integrating basic information literacy instruction skills into the tutor training curriculum, and incorporating the peer tutors within library instruction classes and activities. This chapter focuses on the current iteration of the Research Mentor Program, describes recent changes to the mentors’ information literacy training, and examines valuable lessons learned throughout the program’s …

Reaction Coordinate And Thermodynamics Of Base Flipping In Rna, Lev Levintov, Sanjib Paul, Harish Vashisth
Reaction Coordinate And Thermodynamics Of Base Flipping In Rna, Lev Levintov, Sanjib Paul, Harish Vashisth
New Hampshire EPSCoR
Base flipping is a key biophysical event involved in recognition of various ligands by ribonucleic acid (RNA) molecules. However, the mechanism of base flipping in RNA remains poorly understood, in part due to the lack of atomistic details on complex rearrangements in neighboring bases. In this work, we applied transition path sampling (TPS) methods to study base flipping in a double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) molecule that is known to interact with RNA-editing enzymes through this mechanism. We obtained an ensemble of 1000 transition trajectories to describe the base-flipping process. We used the likelihood maximization method to determine the refined reaction coordinate …
