Untuk mengantisipasi masalah gizi kurang utamanya pada keluarga miskin, pemerintah telah mengeluarkan gerakan Kadarzi (Keluarga Sadar Gizi). Hingga saat ini, hampir tidak diketahui perilaku Kadarzi ibu balita di DKI Jakarta karena masih sedikitnya data hasil penelitian yang mengukur hal tersebut. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu penelitian dasar yang bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana gambaran pengetahuan dan praktek kelima indikator Kadarzi ibu balita di Kelurahan Penjaringan, Jakarta Utara. Pada Februari hingga Maret 2008 terjadi kejadian luar biasa muntah berak (diare) di Kabupaten Karangasem Bali. Tercatat sekitar 600 orang mengalami muntaber dan 5 orang meninggal dunia. Ini merupakan kejadian KLB muntaber pertama kali di Bali serta belum diketahui patogen penyebab diare tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi penyebab diare di Karangasem serta kemungkinan rantai penularannya. This research attempts to provide performance measurement model for the consumer industry listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) by using the data envelopment analysis (DEA) and the stochastic frontier analysis (SFA). There were 36 panel irms analyzed over the period of 2000-2005 or 216 pooled observations. The output variable was total sales and input variables were labor, inventory, ixed assets and capital. Z-variables are age of the irm, size of the irm, market share and time period. Empirical indings reveal that the average technical eficiency (mean TE) for consumer industry was 0.6630. Lingkungan masyarakat kota yang bebas kebakaran dapat tercipta melalui upaya pencegahan dan pemadaman kebakaran dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model mitigasi kesiapsiagaan kebakaran berbasis masyarakat. Metoda kualitatif wawancara mendalam dilakukan terhadap 30 informan terpilih di Jabodetabek meliputi aparat kecamatan, kelurahan, Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat, dan Suku Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran. Mayoritas informan mengenal organisasi Barisan Sukarelawan Kebakaran, tetapi dalam pelaksanaan ditemukan beberapa kendala antara lain meliputi tidak ada honorarium, status pekerjaan, dan anggota penduduk musiman. Penyakit demam berdarah dengue (DBD) masih menjadi masalah di Kabupaten Indramayu. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi elemen-elemen prioritas kebijakan pengendalian penyakit DBD di Kabupaten Indramayu menurut pakar berdasarkan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan “strategi utama” pengendalian penyakit DBD di Kabupaten Indramayu adalah peningkatan kesehatan lingkungan permukiman; “aktor utama pengendalian” ialah Pemerintah Kabupaten Indramayu; “faktor utama pengendalian” adalah lingkungan; “tujuan utama pengendalian” ialah Kabupaten Indramayu bebas penyakit DBD; dan “kriteria utama pengendalian” adalah jumlah dan mutu sumber daya manusia. Linear Alkyl Benzene Sulfonate (LAS) is a surfactant used in laundry detergent as cleaning agent and toxic to aquatic organisms. This experimental phonetic research deals with the prosodies of directive speech in Javanese. The research procedures were: (1) speech production, (2) acoustic analysis, and (3) perception test. The data investigated are three directive utterances, in the form of statements, commands, and questions. The data were obtained by recording dialogues that present polite as well as impolite speech. Three acoustic experiments were conducted for statements, commands, and questions in directive speech: (1) modifications of duration, (2) modifications of contour, and (3) modifications of fundamental frequency. Many (Western) languages have word-based stress, which entails that one, predictable syllable per word is more prominent than all the other syllables in that word. Some linguists claim that such stresses also occur in Indonesian. In this article, we set out to investigate that claim using experimental, phonetic methods. The results confirm our hypothesis that Indonesian lacks word-based stress. Yet, we do observe some kind of prominence pattern. Berdasarkan hasil kajian Badan Perlindungan Konsumen Nasional (BPKN), di Indonesia label pangan masih kurang mendapat perhatian dari konsumen. Hanya sekitar 6,7% konsumen yang memperhatikan kelengkapan label produk pangan yang mereka beli. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kepatuhan mahasiswa Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat Universitas Indonesia membaca label informasi zat gizi dan komposisi makanan kemasan serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Penelitian dengan desain potong lintang (cross-sectional) ini dilakukan terhadap 215 responden. Cakupan imunisasi terbukti dapat menurunkan secara signifikan kejadian kesakitan dan kematian yang diakibatkan penyakit tersebut, tetapi di Indonesia cakupan tersebut tergolong rendah. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui hubungan karakteristik ibu dengan status imunisasi anak di Indonesia. Disain yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah potong lintang dengan sampel anak yang berumur antara 1-2 tahun yang tinggal di wilayah Indonesia. Sumber data sekunder yang digunakan adalah Riskesdas Depkes tahun 2007/2008. Proporsi anak usia 12-24 bulan yang mendapat imunisasi lengkap adalah 56,2 % (95% CI :55,1-57,3). Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan kepuasan pasien dengan jumlah kunjungan di rumah sakit. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer survei pelayanan di rawat jalan dan rawat inap selama 9 periode pengukuran pada 2007 – 2009 dan data sekunder kunjungan rumah sakit pada periode yang sama, jumlah sampel adalah 125 pasien per periode yang diambil dengan metoda stratified random sampling.
