The artificial neural networks are being used in modelling electronic elements and devices especially at microwave frequencies where non-linearity and dependence on frequency cannot be neglected. In this paper, instead of using artificial neural networks as a unique modelling device prior knowledge input method based on feed-forward artificial neural network structures as multi-layer perceptrons and wavelet-based neural networks is investigated. The benefits of prior knowledge input method over plain usage of artificial neural networks in modelling BJT is explored by comparing models obtained with and without prior knowledge input. A Robustness Analysis Procedure For Realistic Missiles, Reşat Özgür Doruk, Erol Kocaoğlan
Turkish Journal of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences
This paper presents a robustness analysis procedure for short range realistic missile autopilots. The sensitivity of the autopilots to the aerodynamic parameter uncertainties is investigated through the structured singular value theory where the results are verified through nonlinear simulations. Different types of perturbations are implemented in order to measure the complete performance of the missile.

On Rough Singular Integrals Along Surfaces On Product Domains, Ahmad Al-Salman, Ali A. Al-Jarrah
Turkish Journal of Mathematics
In this paper, we study a class of singular integrals along surfaces on product domains with kernels in L(log L)^2(S^{n-1} \times S^{m-1}). We formulate a general theorem concerning the L^p boundedness of these operators. As a consequence of this theorem we establish L^p estimates of several classes of operators whose L^p boundedness in the one parameter setting is known. The condition L(log L)^2(B^{n-1} \times S^{m-1}) is known to be an optimal size condition

The Aphidophagus Coccinellid (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) Species In Kahramanmaraş, Turkey, Mahmut Murat Aslan, Nedi̇m Uygun

Aphidophagus coccinellid (Coccinellidae: Coleoptera) species were determined in cultivated and uncultivated fields in Kahramanmaraş. Furthermore, aphid species preyed upon by each coccinellid species were also specified. Adult coccinellids observed feeding on the aphid species were collected by suction tube while immature stages were collected with their preys and cultivated in order to obtain adults. This study yielded 33 coccinellid species feeding upon 59 aphid species. The most encountered coccinellid species that fed on many aphid species were Coccinella septempunctata (L.) 41, Hippodamia variegata (Goeze) 19, Scymnus subvillosus (Goeze) 15, Adalia fasciatopunctata revelieri Muls. 10 and Oenopia conglobata (L.) 9. Physical Properties Of Holmium Promoted Superconductivity In Nd-Doped Ybco Ht_C-Superconductors, Morsy Abou Sekkina, Abdul Raouf Tawfik, Osama Hemeda, Mohamad Ahmad Taher Dawoud, Samy El-Attar
Turkish Journal of Physics
Samples of the nominal composition (Y_{0.5}Nd_{0.5-x}Ho_x) Ba_2Cu_3O_{7- \delta} , 0 \le x \le 0.5, have been prepared using the conventional solid state reaction. The effect of holmium and neodymium substitution on electrical resistivity, transition temperature T_c, lattice parameters, size of crystallite and grain size has been investigated. X-ray diffraction, electron micro-probe, scanning electron microscope and IR spectra, have been used in our investigation. The results show that the transition temperature T_c, electron-hole jump rate and lattice parameters (a, b) have minimum values at x = 0.2, while c increases to maximum at x = 0.2.
