Effect Of Different Zinc Sources On The Growth Of Rice Plants (Oryza Sativa L.), Hilmi Uğurluoğlu, Burhan Kacar
Effect Of Different Zinc Sources On The Growth Of Rice Plants (Oryza Sativa L.), Hilmi Uğurluoğlu, Burhan Kacar
Turkish Journal of Agriculture and Forestry
The objective of this study is to compare the effect of different zinc sources on the dry matter yield and Zn content of rice plants grown in the soils having different levels of the total calcium carbonate. For this purpose soil samples were collected from rice growing areas of Çorum, Kızılcahamam and Nallıhan in Central Anatolia Region of Turkey. A pot experiment was established in greenhouse and the rice plants were grown for 7 weeks in the soils by the application of zinc at the rate of 0, 2, 4 and 8 ppm Zn as ZnO, ZnSO4. 7H2O and Zn-EDTA. …
A Research On Determination Of Favorable Sowing Methods For Some Bread Wheat Varieties (T. Aestivum Spp.) Under Van Ecological Conditions, Nuri Yilmaz, Hasan Sepetoğlu
A Research On Determination Of Favorable Sowing Methods For Some Bread Wheat Varieties (T. Aestivum Spp.) Under Van Ecological Conditions, Nuri Yilmaz, Hasan Sepetoğlu
Turkish Journal of Agriculture and Forestry
This study was carried out under Van ecological conditions in 1986-87 and 1987-88 vegetation periods. Three bread wheat varieties (305 Yayla, Tir Wheat, 220/39 Köse) was sowing by Tir and normal wheat drill and yield and yield components was determined. The result of this study, according to years the highest yield was different but is was obtained from 305 Yayla variety which was sowing by normal drill. The lowest yield was obtained from 220/39 Köse which was sowing by Tir drill.

Relationship Between Clay Minerals And Potassium Statuses Of Sugar Beet Cultivated Area Soils Of Kastamonu And Amasya Sugar Factories, Nuri Munsuz, Gökhan Çayci, Mümtaz Ki̇bar, Nihat Akinci, İlhami Bayrami̇n, Kamil Erel
Turkish Journal of Agriculture and Forestry
In this study, clay minerals and their relationships with potassium statuses of sugar beet cultivated area soils of Kastamonu and Amasya Sugar Factories were investigated. Research was carried out on ninety seven surface soil samples taken from Kastamonu and Amasya regions. As a conclusion, illite clay mineral which is the main resource of reserve potassium in soils was found less dominant than that of levels of smectite and kaolinite, particularly a drastic illite degradation was observed in Amasya region soils.
Magnetic Solid-Phase Extraction Of Trace Cobalt(Ii) On Iron Oxide-Hexagonal Boron Nitride In Water And Food Samples, Mustafa Soylak, Ali Mohammednour Ali Mohammed, Furkan Uzcan
Magnetic Solid-Phase Extraction Of Trace Cobalt(Ii) On Iron Oxide-Hexagonal Boron Nitride In Water And Food Samples, Mustafa Soylak, Ali Mohammednour Ali Mohammed, Furkan Uzcan
Turkish Journal of Chemistry
Determination of trace cobalt(II) (Co(II)) in real samples remains challenging because of its very low concentration and strong matrix interferences. In this study, a simple and green magnetic solid-phase extraction (mSPE) method was developed for the selective separation and preconcentration of Co(II) ions using a newly designed iron oxide/hexagonal boron nitride (IOhBN) nanocomposite. The material was synthesized through a one-step, surfactant-free coprecipitation process, combining the high surface area, stability, and layered structure of hBN with the magnetic and reactive features of Fe₃O₄ nanoparticles. This hybrid structure provided abundant active sites and rapid magnetic separability, enabling efficient extraction within 5 min …
