A Vrp-Based Route Planning For A Mobile Robot Group, Osman Parlaktuna, Aydin Si̇pahi̇oğlu, Ahmet Yazici
A Vrp-Based Route Planning For A Mobile Robot Group, Osman Parlaktuna, Aydin Si̇pahi̇oğlu, Ahmet Yazici
Turkish Journal of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences
In this study, a vehicle routing problem-based approach is presented to construct non-intersecting routes for the members of a mobile robot team. It is assumed that each robot starts from a central location such as the charging point, completes its route and returns to the starting location. The proposed method consists of three algorithms: a sweep algorithm determines the position of each node in clockwise (or counter clockwise) manner with respect to the starting location; savings algorithm calculates the saving obtained by adding a node to the route of a robot; Dijkstra's shortest path algorithm is used to calculate the …
A Communication Module And Tdma Scheduling For A Swarm Of Small Submarines, Ram Somaraju, Felix Schill
A Communication Module And Tdma Scheduling For A Swarm Of Small Submarines, Ram Somaraju, Felix Schill
Turkish Journal of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences
Swarming algorithms usually require fast and reliable local information distribution among neighbouring nodes. Additionally, many applications also require global information distribution in the shortest possible time. We show that communication links with a range which is small compared to the size of the swarm offer many advantages. We propose a system using low frequency radio communication as a viable alternative to acoustic communication. A time division multiple access algorithm is presented together with results from simulations. The presented system can be effectively used in large scale swarms of small submersibles.

Optical Properties And Determination Of Thermal Transformation Parameters For Se_{0.65}Te_{0.35} High Reflectance Thin Films, Ayman Ahmed El-Amin, Aly Mohammed Badr, Foaud Abdel-Wahaab
Optical Properties And Determination Of Thermal Transformation Parameters For Se_{0.65}Te_{0.35} High Reflectance Thin Films, Ayman Ahmed El-Amin, Aly Mohammed Badr, Foaud Abdel-Wahaab
Turkish Journal of Physics
Chalcogenide glasses Se-Te have been prepared from the high purity constituent elements. Thin films of these materials have been deposited by vacuum evaporation. The thickness effects on the optical properties have been performed for the as-deposited films. The impact of varying thickness on the value of the optical gap is also reported and discussed. The resultant films were in amorphous nature. The reflectance and transmittance spectra were measured for the mentioned films and analyzed in the incident photon energy range from 1.16 to 2.47 eV. The refractive indices were determined as a function of wavelength via the transmittance analysis in …

Background: An important aspect of the "description" of a variable is the shape of its distribution, which tells you the frequency of values from different ranges of the variable. Typically, as most of the statistical tests are based on the normality assumption, a researcher is interested in how well the distribution can be approximated by the normal distribution. Unless there are extreme violations of the normality assumptions, approved statistical tests usually provide accurate results. Although simple descriptive statistics can provide some information relevant to this issue, more precise information can be obtained by performing one of the tests of normality …
Rheology Of Polyaniline Dispersions In Acrylic Resin, Nicoleta Plesu, Smaranda Iliescu, Gheorghe Ilia, Adriana Popa, Cornelia Muntean
Rheology Of Polyaniline Dispersions In Acrylic Resin, Nicoleta Plesu, Smaranda Iliescu, Gheorghe Ilia, Adriana Popa, Cornelia Muntean
Turkish Journal of Chemistry
Acrylic dispersions based on polyaniline were obtained and characterised. The polyaniline was obtained by chemical polymerisation of aniline in different organic acid containing phosphorous, in the presence of ammonium-peroxidisulphate as oxidant agent. The blends were obtained by mechanical dispersion of polyaniline in commercially available acrylic resin. The flow behaviour of these dispersions at different shear rates was studied. Furthermore, the resulting acrylic dispersions were analysed by IR spectroscopy, and were characterised in terms of their electrical resistance and rheological behaviour

Terpenic And Phenolic Compounds From Sideritis Stricta, F. Pinar Şahi̇n, Nurten Ezer, İhsan Çaliş
Turkish Journal of Chemistry
From the overground parts of an endemic Sideritis species, S. stricta, 4 diterpenes, sideridiol (1), isosidol (2), isolinearol (3), and linearol (4); 2 flavonoid glycosides, isoscutellarein 7-O-[6'''-O-acetyl-\beta -D-allopyranosyl-(1 \to 2)]-\beta -D-glucopyranoside (5), and isoscutellarein 7-O-[6'''-O-acetyl-\beta -D-allopyranosyl-(1 \to 2)]-6''-O-acetyl-\beta -D-glucopyranoside (6); a methoxyflavone, xanthomicrol (7); and a phenylethanoid glycoside, verbascoside (=acteoside) (8) were isolated. The structures of the isolated compounds were established based on spectroscopic evidence (UV, IR, 1D- and 2D-NMR, MS).
Hydrothermal And Microwave-Assisted Synthesis Of Boroarsenate, Baso_4, Abdulhadi̇ Baykal, Ayten Evren
Hydrothermal And Microwave-Assisted Synthesis Of Boroarsenate, Baso_4, Abdulhadi̇ Baykal, Ayten Evren
Turkish Journal of Chemistry
BAsO_4 was previously synthesized by solid-state reactions at 800 °C and was characterized by X-ray powder diffraction. Now, we succeeded in preparing BAsO_4 from H_3BO_3 and As_2O_5 using hydrothermal synthesis by heating at 160 °C for 3 days (a single-phase product) and using microwave-assisted synthesis, which takes only 5 min to transform a solid mixture of As_2O_5 and (NH_4)_2B_4O_7.4H_2O into the crystalline titled compound (a single-phase product). The crystallinity of the products is higher than that of the solid-state synthesized product given in the literature. Its X-ray powder diffraction patterns, and both Raman and IR spectra were in good agreement …
