There is no consensus on the properties of an ideal dressing for treating wounds. The aim of this study was to investigate the efficacy of dressings using topically administered bitter melon extract with olive oil, pure olive oil, nitrofurazone, and saline in the healing of ischemic wounds. A sample group of 48 rats was used in the trial. Their wounds were treated with bitter melon extract, pure olive oil, nitrofurazone, and saline. Decellularization is a process that involves the removal of cellular material from the tissues and organs while maintaining the structural, functional, and mechanical properties of extracellular matrix. The purpose of this study was to carry out decellularization of rat adipose tissue, diaphragm, and heart by using two different methods in order to compare their efficiency and investigate proliferation profiles of rat adipose-tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells (AdMSCs) on these scaffolds. This study investigates the advantages of two fuzzy linear regression (FLR) models, namely the Tanaka and the Savic and Pedrycz models, over multiple linear regression (MLR) for lentil yield management. We used a fuzzy approach to model the yield of lentil genotypes in which the input is crisp and the output fuzzy. In this study, two standard strawberry cultivars, Rubygem and Sabrina, were treated with UV-C (254 nm), hot water (60° C for 10 s), and UV-C + hot water after harvesting and stored in modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) at 0 °C and 5 °C. The prickly pear (Opuntia ficus-indica L. Miller) is a xerophytic cactus species widely cultivated in arid and semiarid regions worldwide and used in rehabilitation programs of rangelands in Algeria since 1990. This study analyzed the diversity and functional traits of plant species established in prickly pear plantations growing under arid and semiarid climates. A 3-year plant assessment (2008-2010) was carried out using ecological descriptors (abundance, species richness, diversity indices, disturbance index, and Jaccard index) and plant functional traits (life forms, chorological types, dispersal types, Grime's, Noy-Meir's strategies, and morphological types). This study was carried out to determine the pollen diversity and daily, monthly, and annual concentrations in Gümüşhane, whose relationships were then sought with the meteorological factors in the atmosphere of Gümüşhane. Load frequency control (LFC) is an essential aspect of power system dynamics. This paper focuses on the optimization of LFC for a two-area deregulated power system under different scenarios. A recent nature-inspired ower pollination algorithm (FPA), based on the pollination process of plants, is used to tune the proportional integral (PI) controller parameters of LFC for the global minima solution. This paper presents an improved version of the animal migration optimization (AMO) algorithm for solving the traveling salesman problem (TSP), which is classified as a combinatorial NP-hard problem. The aim of 2D to 3D reconstruction is to generate either a volume or a surface representing the object from multiple views. This paper presents a simple and accurate multiple-view volumetric 3D reconstruction method using an integrated approach based on homography estimation and voxel mapping. We describe a miniaturized antenna design for retinal prosthesis applications that enhances data transfer between the implant and external camera. The circularly polarized and conformal 2.4--2.48 GHz microstrip patch antenna was simulated inside the vitreous humor and is intended for biomedical applications. Modified Hilbert and serpentine geometries were used for the proposed implant antenna design. Capacitive radiator loading offered miniaturized dimensions of 5.8 $\times $ 6.5 $\times $ 2 mm$^{3}$ (width $\times $ height $\times $ thickness mm$^{3})$. The goal of the present study is to contribute to the research on the use of eye tracking in hands-free gaming. We report the results of an experimental study by using a platform game designed by the authors. The game allowed gaze-voice command control, as well touchscreen control of the interface by the player. We employed a set of performance measures and we measured player engagement as an indicator of user experience. This article presents an efficient TSK-type recurrent fuzzy cerebellar model articulation controller (T-RFCMAC) model based on a dynamic-group--based hybrid evolutionary algorithm (DGHEA) for solving identification and prediction problems. The proposed T-RFCMAC model is based on the traditional CMAC model and the Takagi--Sugeno--Kang (TSK) parametric fuzzy inference system. In this paper, we proposed a classification method based on a nature-inspired algorithm, i.e., modified artificial bee colony (MABC). This method was applied to electrocardiogram (ECG) heartbeat classification. ECG data was obtained from MITBIH database. Eight different types of heartbeats (N, j, V, F, f, A, a, and R) were analyzed. For a better classification result, both time domain and frequency domain features were used. Background/aim: Alprostadil and iloprost are successful agents used for both pulmonary hypertension and extremity ischemia treatment. Different systemic effects of these agents may change the preferences of clinical usage. Superiority of preventing ischemia/ reperfusion (IR) injury is a criterion for clinical preference of these agents. The present study was designed to compare the protective effects of alprostadil and iloprost in a rat model of IR injury. Background/aim: This study was designed to examine the effect of tadalafil, a phosphodiesterase (PDE)5 inhibitor, on the severity of joint and muscle damage in rats with adjuvant-induced arthritis (AA). Materials and methods: AA was induced by intradermal inoculation into right hind paw of male Sprague Dawley rats (300-450g) with complete Freund's adjuvant (CFA; 0.1 mL).
