Carpenter from October 1857 to August 1858 totaling $60.36. The second undated statement lists various items of clothing purchased by John P. Darden from D and E. Scharffe from May to December of 1858 for a total of $23.36.

She describes the struggles she had to feed herself and her boarders with the limited resources she has. She discusses the state fair in Jackson, who she saw, and the boarders she's had.
