Leah Friedman and Yehuda Edelstein had lived in Salg Tarj N in northern Hungary, near the border of Slovakia, before World War II. Prior to the German occupation, the city had a thriving Jewish community and was home to thousands of Jews. In May 1944, a ghetto was established and the Jews who had not already fled the city were forced to move there. On …

Calls for the election of Hitler as Chancellor of Germany. The text promises that greater Nazi influence will free the German people from subjugation by Jewish bankers. The illustration shows a bare-chested German laborer representing the German people struggling beneath a load, labeled “International Jewish Financial Capital,” juxtaposed with an image of the laborer ultimately freed from his load, hefting a sledgehammer emblazoned with a swastika.

Topf & Sons designed, built and perfected the crematoria at the Auschwitz, Buchenwald, Belzec, Dachau, Mauthausen and Gusen camps. The leaflet lists their slogan (“Performance decides”) and various product lines: smokestacks, furnaces, etc. Verso is a company description. Topf speaks glowingly about their new leadership and spirit since 1933, the Third Reich’s first year.
